Indeed. The frat party outside the Whitehouse, complete with authentic plastic cups, celebrating someone's assassination probably didn't help matters

I think to believe that there was not going to be some retaliation no matter what American's did would be very naive. That being said as an American myself i am sickened by the people in the streets celebrating and waving flags around. I do find it kinda funny that others talk about how long it took the US to find Osama and all that I ask you this. Was your country out looking for the worlds most wanted man? If they were not well " for evil to prosper all it takes is for good people to do nothing" and if they were it took you about the same amount of time.
As for pulling out of Afghanistan right away that is just not smart and i would have no respect for any person who would take out the government of a country and then not put in all the many years of effort it will take to rebuild that country. To me its simple we had no right to invade Afghanistan on the level we did but now that it has been done it can not be taken back so it must be seen through to the end so that we leave the Afghans in the best possible shape we can.

Re: Osama bin Laden Dead
He was the USA's 'most wanted criminal'. Us, your international contacts allow the USA her madness, as it is a child carrying a very big gun. "The world's most wanted man"? What has he done to us in the Netherlands? What has he done in Azerbaijan? What has he done in South Africa? The USA has caused more chaos, death and debt through her fear-mongering and pointless 'wars of liberty', than all of the world's terrorist organisations together. *grin* Not saying they're wrong. Just saying there is a whole world outside of the USA.WolfeReign wrote:Dark Lord Tacoma wrote:been watching the tv coverage today and couldnt help getting the feeling the crowds of americancs celabrating might aswell have been chanting "bomb us in retaliation "

Re: Osama bin Laden Dead
Oh i totally agree with you about America and the chaos we have caused the only thing that stops us from being there Number 1 of all time is religion and the fact that nothing kills more people than religion. But as to Osama only being amreica's problem i think you need to read a little more about the attack's caused by him cause i believe only 2 have been in the united states and while all have been directed at american soldiers and then all americans the world over some of the countries that have had bombings and other terrorist activity related to bin laden are Yemen, Egypt, Tanzania, Nairobi, Kenya. Oh lets also not forget the first arrest warrent for Osama bin Laden did not come from America it came from Libya and although many of these attack's were aimed at american's they killed many civilian's which were not American citizens so yeah i guess you are right Juliette Osama only attacked those in America.
As for what has Bin Laden done to the netherlands well i guess nothing why would he you have a country with less people and less land mass than the state i live in basically what i am saying is that what you said is the same as me saying the state i live in has never been attacked by Osama it's a true statement but deceptive in its true meaning. Yes we are both Countries but after that its kinda hard to compare 2 countries that are so different in the scope of there roles in the world over the last 100 years. I freely admit the fact that Ameirca constantly has its nose in others business but if you were to go to South Korea today do you think that most of the people would tell you that they wish we never assisted or what would the result of the first world war be if America never assisted do you truly think all would have been the same today. We can all find things to criticize about every country in the world but good or bad all our actions have led to the world we have today and even with all the problems around the globe i dont think the world is really in that bad a place right now.

Religion? Hah. People who sit on resources will always be killed by the ones who have swords, guns, tanks, or Hellheart missiles.WolfeReign wrote:Oh i totally agree with you about America and the chaos we have caused the only thing that stops us from being there Number 1 of all time is religion and the fact that nothing kills more people than religion.
In other words, American colonies, henchmen or armed forces were under attack. American corporations and armed forces, hiding between the civilian populations of backwater nations.WolfeReign wrote:But as to Osama only being amreica's problem i think you need to read a little more about the attack's caused by him cause i believe only 2 have been in the united states and while all have been directed at american soldiers and then all americans the world over some of the countries that have had bombings and other terrorist activity related to bin laden are Yemen, Egypt, Tanzania, Nairobi, Kenya.
Of course. And after Libya had served its purpose, it was abandoned and called a scum-nation. Filthy tactics, employed by a fallen superpower with ultimate disregard towards what they themselves call 'the great virtues of freedom and liberty'.WolfeReign wrote:Oh lets also not forget the first arrest warrent for Osama bin Laden did not come from America it came from Libya
Collateral damage in a war between America and the majority of those parts of the oil producing world that do not compromise on their own freedom.WolfeReign wrote:and although many of these attack's were aimed at american's they killed many civilian's which were not American citizens so yeah i guess you are right Juliette Osama only attacked those in America.
*grin* War comes to those who let their civilization fester in the dreary darkness of man's insatiable greed.
As for the bloody ignorance of someone who thinks that one man is the personification of evil.. *chuckles* Go home. Make love to your wife. It'll be a dark day before the world falls before one man.

Re: Osama bin Laden Dead
I am sorry but you made not 1 actual point or fact there just a bunch of silly idea's. I mean when the hell did Egypt and kenya become an american colony. I also get the idea that you are under the Impression Osama bin Laden's goal was only the downfall of America if so you would be wrong he wanted to bring about the downfall of western Society and saldy to him your country is included in that America though is the figurehead or the face as you will but I guess i will say you win this debate i cant argue someone who just blabbers out some sad recycled America hate talk if you want to come back with some actual fact's well then i would love to continue debating you on our little points since a good debate is good for the mind plus is fun.
As for your last line who is that directed at i not once used the word evil in any of my posts so you cant be talking about me.

Re: Osama bin Laden Dead
Weren't the London bombings linked to some extent with Al Qaeda?
I don't see how those countries could be considered as colonies either...
Because if it's because there are US multinational/global firms residing there, well, they are almost everywhere in the world..
WolfeReign is right, other countries (France, UK and Germany among others) were threatened several times. Not to mention the Madrid bombings, Al Qaeda inspired even though it's unclear if it was made by them.

Re: Osama bin Laden Dead
I'm going to state this, and some Americans may hate me but it seems that there are more 'hive-minded' individuals in the United States than most other regions. Am I mistaken? It just seems this way to me, or maybe it is just because they are publicized so much on their actions.
It just seems that all of those immigrants, etc who now live in the United States have dumbed it down exponentially. There are plenty of good people like Matt, Jack, etc who can think outside the box but then there are dumb mother **Filtered** who if you told to go pass through that brick wall would do it simply because you had money, power, or was a person of importance.

I might be wrong, but I hope you aren't referring to the families who had losses back in 9/11 and are now celebrating the death of Bin Laden? You might say it's "emotional" to react this way -to be happy the planner of the murdering of your family members to have been shot down-, but when you're in such thing I guess you react a bit differently than otherwise.
So no, when I see those families who lost a member or more who are now happy that Osama is dead, I don't see "dumbness".
If you refer to randomers who feel like it's game over for terrorists as soon as they heard the news, well...let's say they are a bit uninformed.

Re: Osama bin Laden Dead
The Madrid bomings as I recall were carried out by ETA, they have absolutely no affliation with Al Qaeda
As for the London bombings, they were carried out by people who were very sadly misguided & who thought they were members of Al Qaeda when in fact they were just a small group of people in this country who had met each other in mosques, listened to rubbish hate preaching & come up with an idea all on their own. Al Qaeda wasnt involved in the planning of the attack or the arming of these people, even though the prepetrators did give Al Qaeda the credit.

Yes, my mistake:
Wikipedia wrote:After 21 months of investigation, judge Juan del Olmo ruled Moroccan national Jamal Zougam guilty of physically carrying out the attack, ruling out any ETA intervention.[22] The September 2007 sentence established no known mastermind nor direct al-Qaida link.[23][24][25][26][27]

You do realize that is precisely how terrorist cells work, don't you? They don't have to fund every group. All they have to do is spread their hate and get other people to carry out attacks in their name. I guess you might have forgotten, but Al Qaeda repeatedly called for people to do just that. So if someone says that they did it for Al Qaeda, it being something Al Qaeda advocates, then yes, they are responsible. Even if only indirectly.

No we see ignorance! Ok certain people may be celebrating because the murderer of their friends and/or families has been killed, and you may call that an emotional reaction, but it doesn't excuse their ignorance like some dumb **Filtered** interviewed on TV that think this will stop Al-Qaeda.Cole wrote:I might be wrong, but I hope you aren't referring to the families who had losses back in 9/11 and are now celebrating the death of Bin Laden? And yes he was the worlds most wanted man. So what he didn't strike at the Netherlands. You sure no Dutch citizens were killed in any attacks across the globe? A country doesn't have to be attacked to consider someone as a wanted man even if it's on the scale of the worlds most wanted. Just to add to that if the Netherlands didn't consider him the worlds most wanted man why did they risk their lives and join troops in Afghanistan?
