Using this method stops the cheating to a degree - but not completely - so I say leave it as it is.
I would like to point out me and my friends who play gatewars in the UK had to recently apply to get exceptions to trade with each other as it said we were on the same IP, 2 of them are 80 miles away and the other is over 200 miles away from my location. How on earth can that be considered the same IP location??
as pointed out this rule does need some refinement to prevent it from becoming a pain in the ass to normal everyday players, it took 4 emails on my part and a good few hours for the exception to be set up, this affected a whole weeks play for us.
I'm sorry wolf but its overall not a great move in the rules of the game in my view. and actually after email our new gamemod to get it done it took a further email to forum for action to be taken.
Edit: i think i posted about this in bugs but it quickly got locked, it like the mods here dont want people dicussing this new rule in away way, shape or form.
