It could be interesting if weapon counts are included in the different limits, though I'm not sure how you would differentiate between market, raid and plague caps.

Something like with a 500 mil cap, you can either have 490 mil of uu and 10 mil of weapons, 400 mil of uu and 100 mil of weapons or like 300 mil uu and 200 mil weapons. Then make plague affect weapons and units, so you can't go above the 250 mil of trade cap if you have only 150 mil uu but 100 mil weapons.

Obviously this isn't completely thought out and may lead to problems I am not thinking of,l such as that those big defenses people don't like would still be hard to take on, however it would be an update that is fair to everyone at every cap level.

Have you even seen what current plague rates are to say that it is not enough? or should it simply be so high as to be plague itself massing me? Where were you complaints when High Empty was 712m natural army with no mercs under old plague rules? Plague has much much bigger losses than before.

maybe thats because it was in your empire you didn't see it as an issue?

I was just thinking, was plague rates not updated like a few weeks ago? Hence why Feri isn't over 1Bill army still?He was losing like 10mill a day...

High Empty, while being at 712million natural army, did not require someone who was at plague to commit more then their entire army size to mass him. Additionally he did not have 10 officers giving him a considerable UP boost.

There are two issues with the one that effects everyone being the plague effectiveness.... which it is not.

It should have been fixed quite a while back while High Empty was there or even before he got to that size. It was not and now it has become a more urgent issue to be fixed.

Kikaz, Duderanch... I'm sorry to say but neither of you are nuetral in this affair, given that you are in the same alliance as Fericide. While your desire to back up your alliance mate is admiral, your strict nuetrality is in doubt.

Plague limits are opinions though, and in the opinion of some they are high enough, in the opinion of others it is not.

Yes Tekki, i am in the same alliance as Feri and it's probably true that i'm not completely neutral as he is my friend and seeing his efforts getting nerfed pissed me off a little. But still purely looking at the numbers, losing 10mill a day randomly from any trained units is pretty insane. No one at the moment could handle that, let alone beat it.

As they can't beat that it would seem the plague is doing what it was intended - not hault growth entirely, but slow it down so others could try and catch up. Is it not doing just that.

It also amuses me slightly that you question our neutrality when you have made it clear from the moment news of Feri's defence went public that you are completely against his 'unmassable' defence and big army and all of the updates that you have sugested or campaigned for have been to cripple him and destroy his efforts.

Oh yes I agree sol that slew of updates TL pushed through to hinder feri was quite amazing, it's also quite amazing that your trying to push even more through.

C2's defence, at 100trillion ish was not impossible to mass as you did not have to commit your entire army to do it.

Currently, sorry Fericide your defence, requires approximately 500million plus supers to mass. That's an account at plague, with no lifers and no covert. Sorry, that's set up especially. Even if you use multiple accounts, it can't be sabbed. Sending in 286million spies, only gives you 14 sabs if your army is at 500million to start with. What I find somewhat interesting, is that many of the people who are arguing that this is okay are either NAP’d with Fericide, or are Fericide’s officers. Independent, not.

There are not many bigger accounts.

The issue though is not merely the defence, which while it is a challenge, presents a challenge that is simply impossible for most of the game accounts, but also the plague is an issue. The limit size was updated, the amoutn was not. As the UP's ingame went up, so too should have the plague rate.

It did not and while something has been put in now, it is not yet strong enough. Officer UP should be removed once you reach plague because at that limit, you should be more than able to stand on your own. And if you wish to have officers for other reasons, then that's fine, at that size, you can offer other inducements.

You're trying to make Plague mass his defense down, which is unfair. If you think the existence of a 200tril defense is unfair, which it isn't, then suggest something about defenses, not Plague. No one is suggesting that any change be made to Fericide's UP thus he would not be punished for putting in that mcuh into that stat.
