Keep alliance repair for offensive weapons, one or two a week at least for team effort in bringing down big defenses. Specially since UU losses for the masser is huge.
And remove repair defense weapons. To bring back more massings.

It's been suggested by many people many times and I agree 100%. IMO alliance repair/PPT is probably the worst update admin has ever made and should be removed.
Have to say Im pleasantly surprised to see you suggesting it, your empire friends seem to like the advantage it gives larger alliances/empires with enough members to cover these functions on rota's.

I think you may be confusing liking it with just adapting to use it. Hell I have used it to protect offline mH members as I'm sure most people in war alliances have, but I (like many others in empires I know) think it's the worst update to grace the game.

To clarify better
The benefits that I see
Increase team works while at the same time bring back more massings. Instead alliance will have to watch log and attack the attacker instead of just repairing. Brings back a different, better type of team work and skills.
Not to mention this is something I think everyone can agree on.
Someone pointed out that massing should be expensive and there for removal for offensive weapons should be done as well - how ever my response to that is that the huge UU losses for massers are enough anyways. (and should be kept )
Now it is time for a update to bring more massings.

I disagree. It should be removed completely, not just partially.
Yes attackers face large uu losses but the benefit of that is that they get to kill spies after a defense. they also get to destroy weapons.
It evens out. Also with the removal of the def repair it takes most of the likely hood that you will fail at massing due to someone being online out of the picture. (unless the person is on which well then you just fail at defense massing
)

I wanted to suggest that first Feri. And I concur to a degree. How ever, I'm kind of interesting to see defense repair taken first and see how it goes. Then reconsider if it doesn't have the desired effect.

Um so do you mean Ifrit and Jason that the alliance command would put your members on nox and critical?
At the moment I think the number of attack turns for nox is about right. Auto war I don't like. I know the reason but I don't like it due to the methodology it forces into play.
Alliance repair has kind of grown on me, but removing it would still be a good thing I think. Alliance PPT not so much IF alliance repair is gone.

Yea If I understood Jason he was suggesting doing a highesterest or whatever... basically one more then what we have, don't really think I want it, but meh. I would like to see a button that allows you to nox/crit your alliance, or possibly just criticals them.
Alliance repairs are not so bad now that it reduces the effects of phasing. So to be honest I don't have much an issue with it.
