Regarding the final two ascensions /New ascension titles?

What if they granted title only, no further bonuses but also didn't require any loss of covert levels.. naq.. uu etc. The community could even vote for 2 more titles.. rather than being stuck with the Un's....

Also it'd be a use of G/R which is just pointless if you're UnK. This is also a suggestion for some sort of use for G/R maybe? But yea, maybe like 5k G/R and you can get a 24th title or the 25 title.

But again.. I'm suggesting NO more bonuses, just addition titles at no cost.

This is something I agree with far more the adding more ascensions, the last thing the game needs is more bonus onto bonus

Maybe a bit more cost the 5k G&R, but the important part is the idea

I agree with the no bonuses part but I think there should be some costs.

Another idea would be to use the final two ascensions to improve the ascended account instead of the main account. before all the ascended updates were made the ascended account would benefit a lot from each ascension, nowadays ascensions do crap all for the actual ascended server, so I'd say increase the amount of ascended power points for the final 2 ascensions so people have a chance to improve their ascended account. There would have to be ascension costs though. make it expensive on main but real profitable on ascension.

Jason previously was seriously considering giving the ability for users to create a custom title for the 25th ascension, just like you have your custom red name atm. So I rekon he'd be up for that. obviously it would open up more avenues for people to be abusive to others tho.

You do know 50 tril naq is horrendously out of proportion to the value of 50k GnR

Thats the equivalent to only needing 5 bil income if you did it in the 5GnR range XD

Jason, what you are proposing is a 'conversion'? Instead of actually ascending, you dump your stats (proportionately 1 spy level, 200k UP, 100T Naq and 50m UU) and blow your ascended account up like a balloon? Or just resources?

But yes moving back to the point, a custom title with certain restrictions sounds good. Also maybe have ascending past that cost certain resources to give points on the ascended server...

Seems like alot of work for admin just to let people type in their own ascended title, especially when there are so many other useful fixes and updates admin could be working on.

There only thing that would make me want to ascend again would be a stonking huge bonus worth the lose of coverts/RAW or if the final ascension made you truly & permanently undescendable.

That might be a good idea, however the customizable ascended title I'm not sure whether it's a good idea...however the rest (costing more G&R but not the stats), why not!

Just resources, which are a multiplier based on your UP like all other ascensions...

How about a shift of bonuses when you ascend to 24 or 25? Costs X amount of GnR and possibly some other junk, and the user is presented with several options when they ascend; removal of x bonuse(s) to boost y bonus.
As it were for when we all started back in the day of sgw, we chose our race, Asgard for a stronger defence, Tauri for attack etc. As it gets wiped when you ascend, becoming a more powerful being, you are at the pinnacle of power, thus to gain any benefit you must loose some bonus in a sector to squeeze as much as you can to get the slightest increase in another.

However preset options would have to be thought over, for instance a defence increase should use a covert decrease. House bonuses would be a decent measure to go by.
Also notice the (s) above, instead of one for one it would probably be better to have one for a few, e.g defence at the cost of covert+ms or something.
Just a thought anyway, good to get some tacticians back. Better than just receiving a custom title, seemed kinda pointless unless you are really upset at being called an unknown.

I agree with this topic, great idea, I also like the idea of not losing everything but requiring a lot of Glory to acquire the new titles.
