Another set of news - for those of you who loved Halo: Combat Evolved? They have remastered it in modern day graphics, with the same epic campaign from so many years ago. Again, nerdgasm. HERROOOOOOO!

The Halo campaign is the best of the best. It tops all campaigns in the history of video games, for me, except possibly Gears. The woman behind the writing of the Gears of War, and the games of Gears of War is now involved with writing for the Halo universe. I'm not entirely certain if this is her doing but..if it is? Hellooooo Epic Ending.

I do not know if this is true, however, if it is - perhaps the woman who was hired (the Gears of War book writer, and story line writer for GoW SP Series) to write more volumes into the Halo Universe is the one behind this.

It would make sense, after all..her name is Karen Traviss.

You know what's been taking up most of my working day for the last year or two.

So I think it's time you ponyed up the dough and pre-ordered it, okay? I worked my guts out on this game. And it's a thing of beauty, even if I do say so myself.


And that gives you quite a few weeks to read the fourth Gears novel and get up to speed with what's happened since the end of Gears 2 before you play Gears 3 - COALITION'S END (hardcover, Gallery Books) is out on August 2.
