Call of Duty

best load of War games I've even had the pleasure to experience.

My opinions

Modern Warfare which was exciting at 1st but got dull with the whole Big red screen each time you got hit :P

Modern Warfare 2 -Best game ever.

Campaign was short :( BUT they had a great offline Multilayer System which was easy to use and extremely fun and exactly like online mode...

Online mode kept you interested only short side was the LAG and American's getting preference in Lobbies online over others. Never was Random 6 South African players and 2 Americans and They got the Host and we all lagged while they got 8/10 connection :( but i stil had the passion to try and try again killing people :)

Black ops - in a few words (Badly made) I only bought it because i wanted a NO Lag experience which i looked for with offline Mode.

I Happend to buy it on Xbox and then i find out a week later that Ps3 is free to play offline ,Xbox Locked it only for gold membership...

so any game Treyarch brings out with flashy Title like Computer AI Offline mode be sure to buy on Ps3 or Have access to Constant Gold Membership.

and the best part :)

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 -If they don't do a TreyArch and break a game with tons of potential and they Fix Mw2 with new maps ,Guns, abilities and suits i can assure everyone we are going to be playing this for years :)

Lets see the Replies :)

Re: Call of Duty

Modern Warfare - Probably the best game out as I never quit playing it :smt060

Call of Duty World at War - Liked the "old" guns as they were something new to try... but hated the lag when you got shot by tanks and all.

Modern Warfare 2 - Campaign was good, would have preferred it if the spec ops was longer with more missions as I liked the tactical gameply of it. Multiplayer was good at start but got boring half way #-o

Black Ops - Meh, it's a good time pass game....BUT loving the zombies!

Modern Warfare 3 - Watched the gameplay trailer for it on E3 and looks pretty awsome, as long as they got more guns for the online, prestige unlocks like black ops and more than definately getting it :D

Re: Call of Duty

MW1 great game, best of the series

WaW never really got into, zombies was a good feature

MW2 second best in series, maybe first. gets boring after owning for too long though

Black Ops. better than WaW, but not a patch on MW series

Re: Call of Duty

I have been playing Call of Duty since the beginning of time. The fact of this matter is Call of Duty 2, and 4 were the best of the games thus far.

World at War? Great effort by Treyarch but not on par with Call of Duty 4.
Modern Warfare 2? Horribly done online.
Black Ops? Worst game ever, thus far in this franchises history in my opinion.

If you speak of campaigns for each individual game, I have beaten them all on Veteran, achieved 90% -> 100% of the Achievements and I will admit. The developers at Treyarch and Infinity Ward know how to make a good, intense campaign where you can have a lot of fun. Some of the best campaign struggles in all my years as an FPS Gamer have come from CoD.

Re: Call of Duty

owned pretty much every cod going at some point, not sure why but cod 3 was always fun to mess around on.

black opps spoilt the pase that mod warefare 2 had , and now there coming out with 3 but .... it does just look like its had a paint job and a few new weapons will be in, dont feel they will change much .

think im gonna be stuck on battlefield 3 for a good half a year :D new engine awesome graphics and huge scale battles.....oh and the jets in multiplayer :D
Retired but still on a rampage

Re: Call of Duty

got to agree with Guild, Battlefield 3 is the way to go.

for me cod is the same i mean not the grapics obviously, but multiplayer, there are not enough players the maps feel to small. i like using tanks, people carriers etc.

my opinion is MW3 will be just a small upgrade.

Re: Call of Duty

Coming from a competitive Call of Duty background, here I go:

CoD 2: No need to glorify this, the name's legendary.

CoD 3: Wth Treyarch?

CoD 4: The most FUN Call of Duty to date.

W@W: People have mixed opinions, I enjoyed it. It's the only Call of Duty that I enjoyed playing in pub lobbies more than in competitive games.

MW2: The most unbalanced, and imo the worst, Call of Duty ever.

Blops:

I like it. People dislike it because of the slow gameplay, and I can understand that, but it fixes all the problems that previous call of duties had. Every single Call of Duty before this one was unbalanced to hell, and the problem with this one is that in most cases it's tougher to play and people don't like that.

The ONLY major issues that Blops has: Famas and Ghost. Famas is a problem because of how much better it is compared to every other gun in the game. That is not to say that's it's the mp40 of blops like some people exaggerate, I can pull 7-8 K/D scores with most other guns (disregard snipers - I can pull the K/D's but not the same W/L). Ghost is an issue only because of how much better it is compared to other perks in its slot.

BUT, if I start naming the problems in MW2, and if people sit for one second and think of how FRUSTRATED they got playing that game, they'll realize that blops is most probably not worst for them. Just the most boring. Of course, there are people that enjoy MW2 and while I will never understand that, I can accept it.

And Blops is the most fun Call of Duty to date to play on a competitive level. Only CoD 4 could ever be as much fun as that. Pubs in blops do get boring if you play them too much, I get bored too sometimes, but Blops in LAN events is amazing.

MW3: I'm excited, but not for the same reason as previous titles. The single player is going to be great, IW knows what they're doing. I'm excited for the multiplayer because it's a new company making it. IW and Treyarch have their own formulas for making multiplayer and by now it's very predictable. CoD 4 was good because it was a new idea, and very innovative. Every title since then has been pretty much the same. IW took out MW2, which was a disaster because they didn't realize WHY CoD 4 was so successful and therefore couldn't recreate it. Treyarch just tried to keep up, and after IW slipping up they got the chance and they took it.

Sledgehammer is going to bring their own taste into Call of Duty, and it's one that NONE of us have experienced yet. That's why I'm excited. Call of Duty needs new minds coming up with fresh ideas, and MW3 looks to be that title. Experience has taught me not to get over-excited though. Since CoD 4, every title has seemed like a disappointment because of how hyped the fans get themselves to be.

im thinking exact same thing. hope they do a BIG upgrade to gameplay and offline mode.

Mw2 - online Never got bored of it ,I played same Maps over and over Online with Friends over Sea's and with that the game stayed in the Ps3 for an entire year!

Then the Mods got Released and game got more interesting with Mw2 Zombie's and special Quick Scope Lobbies made that game 1 for the history books.

Yeah, old Fear was bad ass. I still remember nearly jumping out of my seat in the dark when you climbing down the ladder and the dude is above you only to go down to the bottom and the girl is there as well.

That **Filtered** was trippy as **Filtered**. :smt042
