Please don`t veil attempts to undermine and destroy established ascended accounts. Some people have put it so much time and effort to build good accounts. I`m sick and tired of using these forums to try and **Filtered** others ascended accounts. If you want a better ascended account just log in and do some work every day......simples.
DDE ploy ??? Well perhaps, maybe they dont think they will need alliance functions when they start building unmassable 200+ trill defs, maybe they want to war another alliance/empire who also able to cover alliance functions 24/7. But what do the intentions/plots/rumors of one group matter when the update suggested is for the betterment of the game.
What have alliance repair/PPT achieved ?
Massing practically killed off by a single player clicking a one button at minimal cost
The rise of the Covert/AC levels as the new superweapon, but only for those who can afford them
The ability to run & hide several times a week
Nothing good IMO, it was a bad update that has needed removing since it's inception. If you want to prevent a massing, dont just click alliance ppt/repair, mass the masser. If you want to make stats worth building, link them, make one ( like def ) essential for another ( like att ) to work.
As for ascended, they should either be linked both ways or not at all, why should ascended players not have to play main when main players are forced to play ascended, vacation should effect both, and personally I would go further, IMO PPT should also effect both, and the new main Unit type I suggested the 'worshiped' is one viable way of making ascended players play main just as main players are already forced to play ascended.
