The moment the war started I hit Zesh for like 4T Naq (at 4M army size~lawl), that's the only reason I remember it.

If I recall correctly, unlike most people he never used nox/realm alert. Not sure why, but he was an excellent farm. You'd get half of FUALL competing to hit him every turn.

The real question I think was based around femme suggesting the end of the server war, but that wasn't in June or July, that was back in February of 2010 I think...

My guess is the only real change for the game at that point was the massing/house/repairing/defense update.
