How come noone uses the alliance wars function, i was just looking at past wars and their hasn't been one since dec 2010.

Because they cancel out Nox.

there really isn't a point to it, the calculations don't work (last I saw one) so it really serves no purpose.

How is that a reason not to do it? You use it, you tell admin it is wrong, and he fixes it.
The whole fact that it makes you susceptible to rapid massing makes it an unfavourable option.

It has been broken for as long as I can remember and people have stated so here, in emails, and on irc repeatedly. So yes, that is a reason not to.

So keep bringing it up until J fixes it. *grin* Haha.

I'll favor it when it works correctly, regardless its effect on nox, as it will give certain wars "winners".
