What do you want to see in the game? what can be improved? any suggestions welcome here...

push for Perg to be revamped like it was suggested before, simply put, new players moved into perg which, as it would be re-designed, a place were you could get high on farming, raiding etc. (for a pre-determined time) It would fix at least one major problem, of three, noobs -gap- f2p-gap-p2p. Closing the f2p-p2p gap you can do if Admin J actually listens to the forum community, and updates accordingly.
Creating a server reset clone will just kill the game. Especially if it will just turn out like this again.

Last time i posted any suggestions i got ripped appart strait away but meh

I like the Idea, but i dont think punishing the people who have spent the time to build their accounts over 6 years is fair.

If you want to push the new universe then it should be different to counter what has happend in this one.

Whats the point in history if you dont look at it from time to time to see where you went wrong?

Everyone aggree's that $$ spenders resricted the game by making in next to impossible to catch up to them.
I spend $$ often enough to know i wouldnt take long to spend it on a new server too!!

If you want a universe 2 that is fairer making all market functions impossible and all trading between bigger players against the rules.
Of cause it wouldnt stop people from dealing outside of the game and then attacking for the resources but if it was against the rules you could have hunters like Clarkey watching for instant build ups.

I think that would prevent people moving to the new server just to stay on top, keeping the loyal comunity strong.

you could also have a function as well (Kinda like ascending) that you can do but you move into universe 1. but there is no moving back.

In your idea would you have a seperate ascended server? and if so would you require admin to sort all the glitches in that server before hand?
Because that would definatly give admin a slight headache for a bout a year.

I like the general idea though, just needs more working on first

Yeah there would be. I agree that there could be changes made here and there but the principal behind an exact copy is that it only requires admin write updates for one game. Ascended shouldnt be too buggy.

hahah ascended is all ready buggy, everyone aggrees on that, they just aggree on how to fix it.
It was only half done when it was launched and has never been right, farming is too slow, growing bigger is slow to start.

But as has been said time and time again in this thread, your only holding off the inevitable.

It wont take long before people just dont bother investing the time in this game because they know that sooner or later their server will die and a new one take its place.

If anything all it will prove is that admin only cares about money and not the people who play, which i dont think is true.

People invest a lot of time, its not really fair to say to them screw you, yeah i might not of started the same time as you, spent the time and energy investing in an account for 6 years, but now i'm going to kill your server by choking it of new.

Everyone knows the game needs new players, putting them on a new server doesnt help us at all.

We spent the time to build our accounts, its not fair to say were some how wrong or evil or the reason the game is dying.

dont kill off a 6 year old server for the sake of new players.
It's the players who have been playing for 6 years that we need to protect and keep.
we lose them the game is over. simply put, sorry.

THIS GAME WILL NOT REJUVINATE ITSELF! There is NO way it is going to be picked up by any significant amount of new players. People are definitely trying to take it up because I have spoke to them. They think they're doing alright but really they aren't getting anywhere.

Ascension would take quite a while too, proably monthss, so it would be nice to see those $20 SS come back into play for the ability to transfer res.

Yes the debatable bit is indeed the main page. Very debeatable more thought would definitely have to be given to it than I have given. The idea would be new people join up to that new universe.

What would be MORE sensible.. if an overall login page for GateWars and then you select your Universe.
For example:

GATEWARS
Please select your reality:
Universe 1
Universe 2



Then you have main login and uni 2 login...

nah i think this will work with all the small players and the players far behind being like 80% of the server leaving ;)

Catch up how though,

You can catch with ascended levels, 2 week ascensions, less than a year.
You can catch up on armysizes with raiding

Untrained Kidnapped(50) 26,749,034 with very little effort, maybe 3 hours max over 2 days.

Now if you are on about things like Mothership stats, Covert levels etc then ok it will take a little longer, but for the most part across the server you can survive with covert 36, which is standard, when it comes to Mothership catch up thats a little different, i know of at least 2 people who have spent upwards of $2000 just from talking to them, its there choice its there money, but to catch that from farming, i agree would be next to impossible, but thats just the reality of the game, me personally i spend naq on everything before MS.

Point is, its very easy to catch up and there are ways to create the naq if your willing to put the time into it.

As for creating another server from scratch, i think it would hit critical mass 10x faster than main did, because unless admin stopped trading you couldnt stop the $$ trading, even if he took out trade brokers, people would pay via Paypal, and then just attack person for resources, same problem only you get there 10x faster.

would never be the same even with a new universe because the game lacks the old SG1 names it used to have which is why i played in the first place i liked the idea of playing a SG1 themed game, also admin would need to make money from this new server it wont take long for the donation feature to be added and then the ingame black market and when it is thats it.

Point about it hitting critical mass is undeterminable.. I do think it would get to that point faster but would still take a very long time.

As for catching up.. no I disagree completely. Having to spend a whole year playing/building to catch up to teh top players is ridiculous. Plus you're assuming that there are no new ascensions by then and that covert 36 is still the norm.. it won't be.
