PPT bug

I ascended early sunday morning gmt and therefore had a 48hr ppt.
I went into ppt again early monday morning to find myself out of ppt around tuesday midday and with a loss of millions in uu as i was raided.
From market screen one can see i have used 1 ppt have no attacks or recons shown so how come no ppt.

Please advise how i get my ppt and uu back and get them deleted from the attackers account.

Send an email to support@gatewars.com and explain what happened there. Give them your ID and the dates/times of what happened and when you PPT'd etc etc.

I don't know what they'll do, it all depends on whether it was actually the game that screwed up. But I doubt they will delete any UU from the attackers account because it would not have been their fault if the game screwed up and would be unfair to them, and even moreso if they then traded that UU... it can get very complicated.

Just email that address and explain it. I advise you though that it may take a while to get a response, don't expect a 24 hour turn around.

It sounds unlikely, as most if not all people who ascend sort of, you know, train their units and use up their naq as soon as they ascend. The way you said it, ascending on sunday morning, then not having spent your resources on monday..

There's more to it, 48 hours ppt = 2 days. If you ascended early sunday, you got ppt until tuesday morning.

My guess is: You were in a rush and you forgot to click the "confirm" checkbox.
Why am I guessing that? Because from what you say, and considering you state you lost many untrained units, therefore didn't train them, you rarely if ever log on to bank your naq, if even that.


Summary: From sunday to monday there's one day. 24 hours. You had no reason to go on ppt again on monday, as the ppt would have lasted till tuesday. You forgot to check the confirm box, or you didn't trade for two packages of 1/2 market supporter bonus, or you didn't trade for market supporter bonus at all, having mistaken the resource.

Fix: Next time, spend your resources as soon as you get them. If you plan to use untrained for trade, it's still a good idea to train them as whatever low cost unit, and then untrain them at the time of a trade.
If you plan to use naq for trade, bank as much as you can.

Ascending early on sunday morning GMT only covers you until early on tuesday morning GMT, not until tuesday midday.

How you have one ppt used, I don't know. But basically you screwed up your timing.

And, I also stated that it's possible that he might have clicked the wrong resource/s. I wasn't really thinking when I wrote it, because once I realized the fact that a 48 hour ppt lasts TWO DAYS (just when i first read it), I only started going on about how wrong he plays the game.

Maybe Both of you DavyC and Gaius should re-read yamo's opening post.

He said he ascended early Sunday Morning. This would "normally" take him through to early Tuesday morning. However, he went on to PPT again early Monday morning (therefore only using 1/2 his ascending PPT (24 hours)). At which point the Market has reset. This new PPT would take him through to early Wednesday morning. He then found himself off PPT Tuesday midday instead of Early Wednesday morning.

The fact that he had 1 PPT used showing confirms that on early Monday he used a PPT and therefore did not chose the wrong option on the market and obviously did click the confirm button.

Personally I don't know what happens if you only select 1 multiple when trading for the 1/2 supporter status, does it give you 24hrs or not? If it does then maybe that was the problem, if it doesn't, or yamo is convinced he selected 2 multiples then he should still get admin to have a look in the logs at that timeframe.

Comes up with an error telling you, you have to use a multiple of 2.

As I recall, untrained units can only be raided if they exist as untrained units, not trained ones. Make up the link between what I said and what yamo stated.

Also it's rather odd, and I don't know if he meant he had no attacks made by him or otherwise.. but

At any rate, the argument is quite invalid. Bug the admins with it, although it's highly unlikely that after so many years of functioning correctly, the ppt function decided to randomly leave a person and also use up one of his market turns with no benefit.

This is correct but do you also notice the trend, that everytime someone reports a PPT "dropped" on its own, it just happened to be when that person had 10's millions of UU out and a tonne of NAQ aswell....
