and I would agree with RoKeT. Just saying, but my account has been on vacation for like, a year, and when I left it was in the server war. I signed in and 2 trill naq later (and about 5 mins) I'm ranked in the 300's. And yet you can get GnR at 1500? c'mon. at least make it challenging. (I expect to get gnr at 300. I don't expect to get it at 1500. for those saying a trill is nothing compared to back then, you're right, however, back then you had to be ranked about 400 or less.)

It's more of a challenge to actually wait to get the G&R, get the resources and repeat for over 6 months.

ahh got to remember back then there was only about 10 ascention lvls too, and how many accounts?
Yes it is still % based, therefore in theory rank 1500 is = to old 500 (roughly) and still representive of how skilled you need to be to get it..

G&R hasn't been as high as 400 since 2005.

and It's been in the 900-1.2k range since 06.

*chuckles* considering a) ascended started in sept 2005 and b) it's based on how many accounts there are in the game and c) we didn't have major growth to the community till the middle to end of 2006..... I highly doubt gnr range hit 1000 before the beginning of 2007. Just saying. for the first year and a half to two years ascending was as hard as it should still be.

Absolutely.
For the past 4 months, I have ascended every 2 to 3 weeks with 50T reserves at each ascension. Barely enough to rebuild back into 5GnR with my MS being a meager 500B, but that is besides the point. I ascended, rebuilt my UP and stats, sit on PPT for 8 days straight, collecting 5 GnR a turn, and farm a little here and there afterwards. It is *way* too easy.

Hello Rienna. G&R was in the 400s at the very least by the first month of 2006, since I missed those ranks by about 50 positions at the time. I ascended two months later in the 400s. Initially, G&R was only available to the top 100, but that was changed pretty quickly when it seemed that most of the top accounts could get right back into glory after ascending.
