Hey mate...

It tells the officer that they are basically the "favorite son"...

the officer that will be cared about, protected, etc...


I think it used to say it publicly on the Officer's Stat Page,
or perhaps the Commander's Stat Page but I can't find it at the moment...

each SGW race, and it's ascended version have a different name for the favorite officer.


A NanoTiMaster's name for the favorite officer is Nano Prime...

I know because I follow the NanoTiMaster race options. ;)

it's still visible to the commander, and perhaps to the officer...

but it definitely means things like protege, favorite one, etc.
