well this fact is fact whole last year, nothing new. Sabbing was a way years ago as well. Updates which alowed players to protect allaince member's weapons by using repair button **Filtered** the old school massing. not the sab.

If massing were viable now, I would still mass individuals even with the repair button.

Where is the effort people used to put to mass down the enemies defense supers while the opposing player is online repairing? That's how it should go, none of this 3 AT for a while until sabotage is viable.

Sabotage should help, but it should not be the dominate force of destruction in this game. There's a reason why it's called sabotage after all.

Who needs massing? You have sabotage. Raise those Covert and AC levels people because massing is gone.

You have to remember, when people build now they generally build with 20 odd mill weps behind a stat, now destroying 2% weps back in the day when a 500-1 trill def without AB was considered a decent defence to keep in a war and to stave off farmers, was hardly anything (about 3 mill weps and a nicely built MS mind you we didnt have double atk or def), about 60k odd weps at a time. *insert admins hand of fate* 3% kill rate on an average defence is MUCH higher. Add a few spices like the repair button, increasing covert capacity 141% for each level bought, and you have yourself a new core focus. Especially considering how practically everything is against massing, and not so much sabbing, we have unlimited spy'ing ability, we dont use turns to sab, they dont appear in any log other than a commanders or the users, its a direct removal of weapons as well, not a % damage like attacking produces.
Massing a defence under 500 bill (or even a trill) isnt worth the losses (if you have a slightly larger attack you have ludicrous losses in comparison to the defender, one would think with the extent of a larger army you could find more hiding soldiers and execute them) or even the 2k odd turns it takes,

Good job on it. Robe took out the Def proper (massing with a little AC added for good measure) then Grizz, Da Vinci, and robe cleaned up) Was around 45T before the war kicked off. Then been between 12T and 20T since then.. You all really cleaned up on the covert, had like 100k left when I was finally able to log in on the cell. Shame i wasn't able to log in and use some lifers at least.... Grizz then sabbed out some of my strike.

I enjoyed a mini rampage last night (inspite of some quick alliance repair) and robe n co enjoyed my stats I'd built specially for them...
