I'm sorry to say girls that Brdvas was largely correct. It IS an administrative issue that rooted this cancer and it's the ailing health of this particular type of game in terms of popularity and sustainability that has only fed it further.
Although unlike Brdvas I don't live in the land of puppies and fairies. A game where people work together to develop it with thousands of players and supposedly none of them having a selfish agenda and more, this agenda never coming to a front? lol. Never going to happen.
People are selfish. The process behind the game should have gone something like...
Jason: "Hmmm.... I am making a lot of money! Awesome! I'll add this to the game to get more money."
Jason: "That worked well... but it doesn't seem to be a viable long term adjustment"
Jason: "Now i'm making less money and my game seems to have lost X% of players. I should do something and see what they have to offer."
Instead... it seems to have deviated at the end to a thought process like....
Jason: "Well i've lost a few players but i'm still getting money. How can I milk this as much as possible before it tanks? That idea is good."
Jason: "Holy hell! Even more went!? I better add something in to keep their interest and bickering a little longer. There we go!"
Meh. Nothing will fix this thing. Stop looking for a fix. Just play it and have fun. Best case scenario things pick up. Worst case scenario you have a laugh and go out with a bang.
