if the right check is done then if they share logins or one logins to other acc can be cought, it takes a strict survey. still the proves wont be enough to ban say 3 accounts.
mother can login in her account , play 30 min and login to daddy account play 30 min and then to child account. altho it might look suspicious u cant interfere how a family plays , there might be some hierarchy

The whole point of this issue is that they have the same IP; now, you could theoretically inspect the 'trends', i.e. the times they log in from other IPs than their home IP (e.g. Husband logs in from 'work-IP' usually around 0800, and suddenly the Wife does that; that *could* be an indicator). Still only circumstantial.

But if husband and wife father and daughter play at the same time, or even whenever they want at different times, nothing you can do and each has the right to play whenver they want.

Like I said, this accusation, like so many others, is based wholly on circumstantial evidence. Better drop this case instead of burning your fingers.

I think Juliette was referring to the "Mother" going to the "Father's job" @ let's say... Verizon... and logging into the "Mother's" account... from what had been a Daddy-only IP address...

when the "Mother" doesn't work at the same company...



However, as has been mentioned, much research and much circumstantial evidence would likely be involved.

if they exchange accounts, shouldn't thier logins (email addies, change too) otherwise that is sharing logins isnt it.

I was with you until you posted this. i'm confused as to your entire question now.

You are saying there is a wife and husband. They both have their own account that they play, regardless of whether they are in perg or normal. Then they swap accounts, so the wife is now playing the husbands account and the husband is playing the wifes account? Then they swap back again?

Is that what you are saying?

Because my point was that if they are accessing the accounts from the same IP (i.e. both at home) it is very hard to prove anything. They may be swapping accounts which people can do legitimately, but re-swapping all the time is tantamount to sharing logins. if they permanently swapped then that is fine and nothing is wrong with that.

But if they swap, play them for a while, swap, play them for a while, swap, play them for a while and keep doing that then basically they are handing over their logins and probably NOT changing the login details because if they kept changing their email they'd probably be having problems getting access to them as many do. So they are essentially sharing logins which is against the rules.

That brings me back to my point that it is near impossible to prove when families are login in to each others accounts.

The reason I used Winter Soldier as an example is because quite often I would see both him and Tribal Heart on MSN and I would send Winter Soldier a message, but if he was not their then Tribal Heart would answer and pretend to be Winter Soldier. She told me that she pretends to be him sometimes to see what the message is in case some trouble is brewing ingame. Don't tell me they didn't do that ingame to by logging in and checking each others accounts. As i said impossible to prove from a Game Admin point of view.

as clarkey said its impossible to have a static prove for these cases. the only way is by assuming that they are swapping and then checking those accounts for few days to see how they play. lets assume wife when at home check both accounts and plays both , a normal person cant actively play two accounts in the same time and its normal that once has finished with one it ll start with the other , if admin query the logs of a specific month then he can assume that this scenario is going on. he ll also see that in most cases the two accounts are managed by the two players and at that point admin has to make his decision if rules have been walked or not.
