As I am in the house of time(ptah) I should be able to hold up to 15,000 turns from buying off other people. (1.5 x normal amount)
I had 2,412 generic + 125 personal turns before the trade and hoped to buy 9k turns. As I did, I got the message saying that it would put me over the turn limit. I could only buy 7k of the turns.
Now I have 9,537 (9,412 generic + 125 personal) turns. (I could buy 588 more turns I believe)
For some reason my account only lets me hold 10k turns, either that or I am totally in the wrong and making a douche out of myself
Any ideas?

I believe that you get 1.5x the storage of naturally obtainable ats. Ie instead of 5000 max you can get from turn growth, you can now get 7500. Maximum amount of turns is still 10k for those in and out of the house.

I can confirm that BMMJ13 is correct in his understanding of things,

Although I have not tested the Attack Turns Held Limit of 7,500
since the limit was raised from 6,250 Attack Turns Held, (25% bonus),

which happened many moons ago.

Further, I don't know if the notation: (generated) was recently added,
but the above description of the House of Ptah is much more clear than I remember it...

as I had the same question as Shikari does for quite a long time after we joined,

and especially after I became the Alliance Leader of The Mags, and as such,
Leader of The House and Disciples of Ptah.
