Re: MW2 - Snatch & Grab
That's impossible to do on the XBOX, or PS3. If it is on the computer, it is moderated.
1) You do not heal that fast.
2) You cannot continuously sprint, no matter how you time your jumps.
3) You cannot jump continuously, no matter how you time them.
4) The last fall from the end of the plane, he would have taken fall damage and died due to his jump in combination with his health.

Re: MW2 - Snatch & Grab
You're right, didn't get very far trying it.
I almost did it the long way, ah man so close. I didn't realise once you get through the plane and get halfway up the hill men come from behind. Damn should have risked it and spammed them with flash bangs.

You wouldn't have made it. There are men on the top of the opposing hill, men on the sides of the other broken plane below, etc.
I've beaten that on Veteran solo, and with a friend. I've beaten every single level on Veteran and one of the most annoying was that level.

But the men on the top of the hill I had planned to flash bang as i sprint and jump my way to the end.Noobert wrote:Clarkey wrote:You're right, didn't get very far trying it.

The guys on the other side i guess i could have made my way over to try and take them out, but then i run the risk of triggering juggernauts.

Re: MW2 - Snatch & Grab
1) There is a Juggernaught that comes behind you when you enter the plane.
2) There is a Juggernaught that spawns on the opposing hillside and hits you with pinpoint accuracy no matter where you hide, or at what distance.
3) Flashbangs cannot reach from the tail end of the plane to the huge hill across the road. You could only flash the enemies below, and even then you would miss some that spawn on the sides of you more than likely unless you knew where they were.
The only way I've found that works is to take out the Juggernaught, and any man you can see on the hillside while saving your flashbangs for the Juggernaught that spawns behind you. When he comes to you, just light him up and flash him accordingly.
Otherwise, just pick the men past the plane off one by one before booking it to the end.

Re: MW2 - Snatch & Grab
Not sure we're both thinking of the same spot that I got to.
Basically, I started the game (was lucky enough not to have a juggernaut spawn at the start), I took the Intervention and the thermal weapon with me. The thermal is very useful in this one I found. So I cleared the whole of the first half of the map up until you get to the intel. I made sure no-one else was around and then I went up in to the plane (before grabbing the intel) and I sniped the majority of men below and men on the hill top, including the juggernaut in the far distance. Unfortunately on this time I remained in the plane for too long and it spawned a juggernaut from behind. So I quickly ran back down grabbed the intel and legged it back up the plane jumped straight in to the next half of the map. I went to my immediate right where there is a bit of plane wreckage where you can hide behind (some people go left and walk up the other plane wing).
I found that when I hide behind that plane wreckage you are pretty much out of immediate danger because you get a few men that run up to you but you have plenty of cover and can still take them out. If they throw frags they don't seem to be able to throw them well and completely miss (at least they did on this occasion). Then once I could tell that I had killed everything in my view, I was aware of the fact that just on the immediate opposite side of the plane I was hiding behind was a juggernaut that spawned when I entered the second half. He doesn't seem to come round the plane, just stands on the other side until he sees you. So I threw a flash bang and took him out. Then the bottom half of the field was clear (although I think there were maybe 2 on the far left that I didn't take out). I decided to make my way forwards up the far right, I walked through some plane wreckage until I got to the very bottom of the steep part of the hill. As I progressed up the hill that is when I got killed from behind. But thinking about it now I believe that was one of the guys I left on the far left.
I believe from the point where I got killed you just have to run up the hill past some big shipping container things and there aren't many enemies around until you get to the very last bit where you have to run through a small open area which is where you get swamped by enemies and the flash bangs are useful.

Re: MW2 - Snatch & Grab
I haven't played MW2 much myself but one of the comments of this video says that there are so many enemies on the map that new ones can't respawn until you kill one or more of them. so maybe it's got to do with this guy killing only very few.
but I agree, he recovers health damn quickly.

Re: MW2 - Snatch & Grab
It's true, just like Wetwork ive you do a speed run with flash bangs and stuff you'll gradually get to a point where there are no enemies spawning because there's no room.Reschef wrote:I haven't played MW2 much myself but one of the comments of this video says that there are so many enemies on the map that new ones can't respawn until you kill one or more of them. so maybe it's got to do with this guy killing only very few.

Like on Wetwork if you kill very little then when you get to the final breach there will be no enemies in the room.
But the others are right, no-one can jump their way through the first half of the Snatch & Grab map like that.

Re: MW2 - Snatch & Grab
I dare you to attempt to kill the ten Juggernaughts on Veteran on the level where you must run around in an enclosed space.
I dare you to do this alone, or with a friend without exploiting the glitch to do so. I believe my friend and I were probably the first to complete it legitimately when the game came out.
