G&R points for not ascended accounts

what if someone doesn't want to ascend?

i personally most like playing as goa'uld and really i don't want to manage few accounts

i quit q wont play chaos etc....


so why there isn't possibility to upgrade original account with some extra skills

for example:

goa'ulds have +25% extra on turn income and free banking

and why there shouldn't be possibilty either to upgrade that to +50%

or to mix it on other race bonuses

original:
+25% on income and free banking

extra:
+10% on income
+10% on covert
+5% on attack

so that would make game even more interesting because u wouldn't know what aditional perks some of players used

also if player choose not to ascend and play this kind of account the ascension link should be removed from that account as that player choose to play as not ascended.

It would motivate some of us to try to gain rank again...(I have no interest in rank as I too never intend to ascend...)

I think Goa'ulds don't need more income bonus maybe something else. But I think we should be able to use our ascended points for something. For example you can buy turns on the market for glory points or something

I see your point - but do not agree. Remember, G&R was created specifically for Ascension - so why should it be used for something else?

Additionally, the bonuses you suggest seem kind of high - better than an ascended main account - hardly seems fair, especially since the new race bonuses are specifically there to reward ascension.

What I would suggest is some sort of compromise - in that you can ascend, but still retain your original race (Goa'uld in your case) and have the new ascended race bonuses.

I get it now - thanks - but again - it seems like a rather big addition to the existing bonuses - and would still, overall make this type of bonus more powerful than someone who has ascended once.

So maybe just use existing G&R points toward mkt purchases, like turns, UU, and naq are now, except make them only one way. So if you spent 1k G&R on a ppt then as soon as those G&R points left you they become whatever is in most need in the mkt instead of staying G&R points for someone else to buy. This way you do not take away from the race benifits to ascension, but you give people a reason to seek out G&R points.

G&R is there for ascension. You don't wanna ascend, that's your loss. If you really want those bonuses, ascend anyway and forget about the ascended account. You can still ascend as often as you want and get your prior bonuses. You really don't need another way to get those bonuses. And if you mean getting the bonuses without the costs involved in ascension, then seriously, forget about it.

if every one acends .. then every one will end up with the same bonuses ... at the end of it makeing it the same... ( i have no ambition to ascend...) i dont need another server to play I LOVE this idea... i would rather the opitunity for the ascention point sto be used on buying bonus upgrades then to ascend and be forced to play another game i dont wont to
