Vacation Mode

It seems as if vacation mode can be abused in ascension. VanRain went on vac mode for no more then 2 hours before I saw him out of it again. I thought going into vac mode meant u had to stay out of your account for at least 2 days. If this "bug" doesnt get fixed it can really undermine the game.

they had the same problem in main for a bit till it was fixed, probably used the old programing for the vacation mode.

That same problem was in main AND quantum, first wave, and boy did that get taken advantage of.

I'm sure it will be fixed soon enough and you guys can continue on your merry way

I should also point out the fact that u can attack people that go into vac mode still....at least i was able to.

I have noticed that when I go to my Rank By Relations, I have one person who is on vacation mode, and the stats page tells me he is ranked 80.
Yet in rankings, he is not ranked 80 at all. In fact, I cant seem to find him in the rankings at all.

If you need the name, I'm happy to PM you with it.

As far as I'm aware, when you are in vacation mode it preserves your rank until you come back out. So if he went on vacation when he was ranked 80th it will keep showing that on his stats page until he returns at which point I'm guessing his new rank will be calculated. I could be wrong but I seem to recall a discussion about this a few months ago.

I can confirm it does, being one of those who had to make a strategic retreat for a bit.

The preservation of the rank isn't what I feel is the issue.

More the fact that he is completly gone from the ranks altogether.

So you can go on vacation mode and literally disappear unless someone has set relations with you...

Think it's still like this on main though as I remember before when a friend was on Vacation mode the only way I could find him was through the link in the messages part of my account from when he'd last sent a message, typing his name in the rankings and searching showed no results.
