PPT Market Cost

Imagine having over a million untrained units/mining equivalents - and it only takes little over 16k at the moment to engage yourself in a PPT using the market...

Now imagine having little over 16k of untrained units/mining equivalents and no bank account *raise an eyebrow*..."OK so what's the point?" you're asking...

Well... (not complaining) just looking, and 5 of the top 10 are currently on PPT... Each of those players' accounts are choc-a-bloc with disposable units unlike, many of the other 36,000+ accounts...

Is it not reasonable to say that going on PPT for these boys is too easy and not costly enough?

With such an abundance of resources (miners) they're in a far superior position exponentially - thus creating a greater gap between themselves and the rest of the galaxy whilst in PPT...

"But PPT costs you exactly the same as it costs them" you say...
No. It doesn't :-) I lose a greater percentage of my income to support that tactic. The big players lose peanuts and reap masses more naq in PPT anyway...

Wouldn't it be fair to charge for PPT based on the number of UU you have?

Extremely good idea, this would even the game out massively.

I totally agree with this. It's way to easy for higher ranked people with large amount of UU's to go on PPT and come out with a large profit while the little guy almost decimates his account with very little gain if any. This might also fix the ‘StargateWars is currently on PPT’ problem as well.

I think the point is that it won't be rank based... it will be resource based... so if you are ranked 7,000 but you have 22mil UU then your ppt would be considerably higher than someone that is ranked 200 with 120k UU...

I agree that it is to easy, but I disagree about pices based on there UU, coz they worked are for them [ most of them ] what about it costing more for everyone ?

It's fair to say that they worked hard for them but how hard do they have to work to obtain more? Think about it from an exponential point of view...

A player with 160k of miners would untrain 16k to trade for PPT if he/she so required it - This is 10% of the total army size.

A second player however, with 1.6m miners, untrains his/her 16k for PPT. It's a meager 1%...

Exponentially, it's quite a significant gap in terms of total earnings. And the gap only serves to get bigger.

Increase it for everyone? And make it even more inaccessible for "younger" players?

sorry never read the hole topic just your post and i thought it was a good idea but instead of the price based on there uu/miners why not cost them 25% of what they would make on that ppt so if some one making 1billion a turn wanted to go on ppt it would cost near 20billion for them
