Was adding people to the multi list and came accross this guy

OMG how did i not spot that? I spied him yesterday 15:00 game time and according to my logs he had 170m UU out! Ah well, I couldn't raid it anyway.

Can anyone confirm or deny that newly created accounts now begin with a 2000 UP? Because it seems ALL new accounts (and i'm talking hundreds) have got 2k UP.

Ok, this changes things. New accounts now start with a 2000 UP.
Also it seems that new accounts start with 110 trained spies.
Further to that it appears they all start with 10 attack mercs, 10 normal attackers, 10 defence mercs and 10 normal defenders.

This means all those unascended ones listed in this thread with 2000 UP are unlinked.

However, the Ascended Prior ones remain suspicious due to the exact same number of ATs and UP on them.

ok, good work finding that out i will delete them..the list will be updated tomorrow takes quite a while to put all them names down

sounds like admin wanted a piece of the pie, creates a script to make fam/raid fliters to another account sell under several other names wham bam he's finally making money
c'mon think about it why hasn't the auto ban system not picked up on it?

nah but i dunno seems alot of this is going on atm

i dunno but i have a theory that it's just bots

could be a millions reasons though

1. he's talked about making a new server for newbies with bots (might be testing)
2. it's uncommon but not unheard of that search engine bots like googlebot yahoobot etc access these types of game somehow override the log out times (some guy said 'cos something to do with the special IP used)

I'm far from an expert, but this game doesn't seem very sophisticated in regards to anti-botting.

I've done a bit of scripting, so I can tell you straight away, the Capcha on the log-in screen is useless, even I could get around it with a little bit of time.

As far as auto-log out, thats simple, just make the script click "logout" when it comes to 2 hours of play, or something like that. Then log back in.

I don't know how good this game's security is in regard to detecting botting applications but there are always loopholes, the only thing this game can do is improve its security and cut out the ability of just about anyone being able to bot, and make it so that only the highly talented botters can do it. Chances are you won't find any of those joining here, so minimise the risk as best as possible. Starting off with a far better Capcha on the log in screen... the current one is pathetic.
