Was Meh.
Not worth the movie prices. Great visuals, good acting, and plenty of fighting. But the story line has been reworked from the original and it lost the campy humor of the original film.
Keep it on the topic of the film, please.

Re: Conan The Barbarian
I didn't see the original, but I enjoyed it. Great effects, backgrounds, even though the storyline was a bit classic: Conan's vengeance against the evil Khalar Zym who killed his father. Of course, it's -much- more than that. But I'm not going to reveal more, anyway!

Philistine......... go now, leave my presence and do not return until you have seen the orinigal
The opening scene from the original with it's genius orchestral score is a classic cinema moment, and the little speeches with the booming voice of James Earl Jones ( Darth Vaders voice ) are great.
Thulsa Doom: My child, you have come to me my son. For who now is your father if it is not me? I am the well spring, from which you flow. When I am gone, you will have never been. What would your world be, without me? My son.
Some movie should NOT be remade

What's "Onan"?
Yes I went to see Conan. I didn't expect the movie to be characters-worked like Inception, which I wonder if some did expect that...because all this kind of movie (from trailer) was going to provide was ACTION. Action battles movie. XD

Good enough entertainment, but not much more...
Too many core aspects were too similar to other works...
At least they did manage to avoid the silliness of female warriors having chain mail swimsuits, as is so common in some forms of fantasy...

Re: Conan The Barbarian
Fairly decent bloodsplatter parts... Its not like those movies with swords where there is barely any blood (or far too much to be natural)...
