Voted for SA; they have that habit of building through the tournament to peak at the right time. My outside bet would go on Ireland as they've finally shown their potential with their performance yesterday and, if they can continue to play like that, have a real chance. Aussies would've been down as my favourites but they are missing some key players, not least David Pocock.

I take it you mean illegally? As handling the ball with your hands is sort of the point of rugby
For the last 10 mins, the French really turned up the pressure and showed some of their class. Big game for them next week against the All Blacks. Still wide open though; considering New Zealand lost to Australia as the end of the Tri-Nations, they were sunk by Ireland yesterday, and we're yet to see South Africa or, I think, England, reach their best.
Exciting times for rugby fans!

Precisely what I was meaning when I said we haven't seen SA at their best. The Wales match was an aberration I think. As a team, they tend to build into World Cup's and they're giving signs it'll be no different this time.

so you believe they will beat the wallabies and then the (most likely) all blacks? that would be interesting to see...

SA will most likely meet the all blacks before they meet the Aussies...

Yes, yes it would.
EDIT: NZ looked good. Still backing SA but it looks a little harder now than yesterday!

That's awesome. Just about know the shape of the knockout stages and might just place a couple cheeky bets

Re: THE WORLD CUP!!! - poll reset :D
Should be interesting, most likely quarters:
Aus vs SA...I look forward to that match, should be very good, SA are playing well, while Aus has a couple of injuries, although Ioane should be back for a bit of flair.
France vs England, again I wouldnt like to call this France are playing well, with alot of depth in their backs while England I think are just getting started
NZ vs Scotland/Argentina...tbh it will be NZ, neither of those can compete atm.
Ireland vs Wales Ill give this to Ireland, I think they will come out on top.
This will be very interesting, as those will put the semis as NZ vs SA/Aus and France/Eng vs Ireland
so whatever happens this will most likely end up as a Northern vs Southern final, exciting.
