When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won.
There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall.

Its related to some semi-broken files in the forum installation after the last round of forum server failure. When the forum last broke down, it was due to one of the core tables being broken. Rather than a rollback to an older backup, it was decided to take that part from an older backup to patch things together. In hindsight, that was probably a bad idea.

It'd probably have been easier if AdminJason had immediately locked down and rolled back the forums when the severity of the failure was discovered, but that did not happen. He tried to patch together the forums to prevent lost posts. Whether that was a good or a bad idea, hardly matters. It happened.
No blame should be thrown around. It serves no benefit.
