It is a well-known and well-disliked bug.

Its related to some semi-broken files in the forum installation after the last round of forum server failure. When the forum last broke down, it was due to one of the core tables being broken. Rather than a rollback to an older backup, it was decided to take that part from an older backup to patch things together. In hindsight, that was probably a bad idea.

yeah i think we all get it some more than most
mine varies can go a couple of hours fine then a couple hours screen on screen

There is no ETA for the solution to this problem. In theory it can be fixed by a lot of mod actions per thread.. but that is a tricky thing.

No-one is to blame for anything. it's just an error that needs to be fixed soon. No-one did anything to take blame for.

I have been having the same issue, all though less frequently over the last few days.

Things appear to slowly be on the mend.

It'd probably have been easier if AdminJason had immediately locked down and rolled back the forums when the severity of the failure was discovered, but that did not happen. He tried to patch together the forums to prevent lost posts.
Whether that was a good or a bad idea, hardly matters. It happened.

No blame should be thrown around. It serves no benefit.
