Speed Up Ascension

First off, it's not hard. I never said it was. I said it was tedious. Not hard. It's time consuming and a long process, but not hard. If it was more of a challenge rather than a time waster it would be more fun. But... it's not.

Second, the comment about it being too much effort wasn't saying it was hard either. Just weigh the options. Go through a ton of effort and possibly money to reach the top 100 to knock a week of ascending... hmmm... a lot of effort and not worth the rewards. A week off each ascension really isn't worth it in my eyes. Not that it's hard, it's just a waste in my opinion.

Rant no? sorry it prob sounded ruder then intended I have a tendency to do that xD all I meant was it's mad easy to ascend, cutting to much time off the ascension is garbage, it took me a LONG time to ascned just as long as everyone else lol, and IMO making it a tad smaller is fine, I agree but making it THAT much smaller no thats not fair to players like myself who have put 3+ years of there lives into this game

Well, I understand you point but the game would have many more long term players if ascending didn't take so long. I started playing in 07, but quit b/c I just didn't feel it was worth it to ascend again and again at such a slow rate. I came back this year and bought an account that was half way there. But I def wouldn't start from scratch again. If you have the patients for it that's great, but I honestly don't.

No need imo. It is speedy enough.

I'd feel bad if I became Unknown in months where others have spent years to reach it.
Though truth be told, if it's changed, I won't protest either. It's the game. Changing the rules changes the game for better or worse.

I see oppinions like : Not fair we did the hard work "boohooo" ego people

But those people forget , no new player are willing to spend a year acsending farming
hiding away from war allainces , barely speaking on the forum as they
don't wanne upset people that tend to mass them for every word they say wrong

Basically I'm a lonewolf , purely cus I wanne acsend , war only did slow me down
thats why I perfering lonewolf , I'm semi active since I gotta wait a full 3 weeks if not more
just to acsend "Yiiipppie" another 3 weeks of boring stuff

Also , Uknown acsension isn't new anymore , their tons that have it
Also this way it would be a punch of the face for those 200£$ sellers that only are out on money

that way Jason you'll be better of with a update like this
and u might aswell sell acsension bonusses at your own given price

that way u'll smackdown the greedies in this game "do u see them "

Ultimately what it boils down to is this:

1) Some people want to ascend and don't mind being patient and devoting years to the process.
2) Some people want to ascend but are too impatient to devote years to the process.
3) Some people have already spent years to reach unknown or other high levels and don't like it when others have it easier than them selves. They may be greedy, but there are other reason they could feel this way. I'm sure there is a kind of community spirit for those who have devoted that much time and effort to it and maybe they want to preserve that. It's probably a mix of things for most people that feel this way.


What we need is a middle ground. A shorter, but more difficult ascension run would be nice. Say... 600 GNR is required and there is no time requirement between ascensions, but to get GNR you must be in the top 3 or 400. It would probably balance out time wise b/c the number of people fight for those spots would be tight. But the sense of time would be less b/c once your there it takes less time. Heck, people might even start wars to knock alliances out of the top 400 to make room for their members... who knows. It'd be pretty crowded up there. I would enjoy finding out how it goes.

People do what they want with their account of you 3 buds need a 1 year to reach what they wanted thats their cause.

And yes I'm fed up with waiting 3 weeks just to get a new title and a silly 1% bonus.
Is that being greedy ?

Or this , do a new player have to catch up Unknown acsended people with a army size of 500 mill
and that in just 1 year ?
