Ascension button not working...

I clicked the button, hit "ASCEND!!", and it brings me to the page saying well done and all that jazz, but nothing happens.
Not a single stat of mine is altered.

Somethings amiss.

It's been a while since I have actually been through the process but once you click the ascend icon you should have a screen telling you the requirements to do so (once you've got the necessary and brokered off whatever else for storage) you should be able to click another simple text box. If you don't have what you need it won't work. If you do there should be another screen that allows you to select your ascended race. Once you've done that it works.

Otherwise, post screen shots. It's 4am here. My head is fubar'd.

Seems as if this is the source of my woes. (Note how I surpass the requirement)

Ok firstly, what do you think you should be getting? AP or extra powerups?
if its AP (ascension powerpoints) you should be getting those, but you dont get extra powerups after your first ascension, infact that whole choose your race screen thing only needs to be for the first ascension because you dont need it for any others.
or were/are you stuck ascending? as in you cant ascend to the next one?
