IP exeptions

I got few friends into the game and we want to be able to log into our accounts at each-others houses without them restricting our trades. I'm told this is possible but I'm not sure who to ask or how, what should I do? Also will it fix accounts that are already banned from trading with each-other? My roommate and I are already not able to trade will this fix that by any chance? What do you guys think? I couldn't find another topic around asking so I figured this would be the place.

Unless I'm mistaken, you need to e-mail support@gatewars.com about it - but I haven't done it myself, so I don't know how long it takes or if there are any other conditions about it.

Yes. An IP exception clears all negative effects; ie. officers and commanders sharing an IP share their resources again, attacks from 'the same location' are possible again, and all other things 'same IP' blocks are lifted.

Speed of reaction depends somewhat on how thorough you were in your request. Other than that, it should not take a week.

What you need to do is this....

1. You and your friends create your accounts.
2. Send a IP Exception request to support@gatewars.com requesting an IP Exception and providing the following details:

2a. All ID's of the accounts involved.
2b. All the IP addresses involved, assuming you are on a static one, but the IDs are more important than the IP.
2c. An explanation as to why you are requesting an IP Exception for those accounts.

There is no point in requesting an IP exception if all the accounts are not yet created because the game admins will need the IDs to do it.
