Influence Power

I know this may seem a bit like a newbie question... but whats the Influence Power all about on ascended server? I'm not sure what it does.

I've tried searching for the forum, but couldn't find anything about it, so if there is another topic somewhere about this, could I have the link please?

Thinking in terms of the show ... influence would mean how many followers do you have as an ascended.

In game terms .... shows you how many planets one player controls .... this is influences by charisma, not sure about the formula but it's something like this : influence = planets * (1.charisma lvl)^3

whats the actual formula? i calculated that for every planet i get 1771.56, but i dont know how i got that number or is it just a universal number for everyone?

It's based on your Charisma as well.

I tried Nostradamus' equation and it appears to be more like

influence = planets * ((10+charisma/10)^3)

but it also rounds for me down, but it was .288 so I don't know if it rounds with 5 like real rounding or always down, programs are sometimes weird.

The formula is exact, just that you weren't able to interpret it corectly. so I'll put it in more mathematical terms :

influence = planets * ((100+charisma)/100)^3

As MySQL is quite the powerful tool for programing, I would bet that Forum has specified it rounds correctly.

Having not tested, I haven't noticed this. I look more at my charisma and fleets than my influence. So which planets give the most influence?

Ummmmmmmmmm no they don't guys, sorry, but all planets have same amount of influence. I mean, 5 untrained planets give 5x(charismalvl)^3 influence, you train them into a super, its 1x(charismalvl)^3, but the point is still, all planets give same influence, whether your army is all untrained or all ghost or super...
