Well.. to that I DO understand and think it's a good reason, however i'd be one of the first to perhaps suggest you miss uni this once.. as this may be the last time we get to doing this and one so big. Ultimately it's on you pal and even the best miss a day of uni here and there.
Um. 'Exercising' English by going to a pub/club/we in Manchester beats theory any time. I just hope I won't have to justify/explain my absence, as I'd have to find a lie to explain it...not saying I never lied in my life, but I'm just saying I would definitely have to lie because a "Manchester meeting" wouldn't be a proper excuse even if it's ironically my English course being on Fridays lol!!
There's also the risk that I get a test that day in English, we got tests every four weeks or so normally..
