i am glad you are trying to give it a chance but we are still at war with the Omegan Empire. which is ran by the "emperor" ETL. if he can lower his pride a few notches and say something like hey u guys did a good job beating us in this war and I'm sorry for my 7 year history of war crimes, that'd be a step towards peace my problem goes all the way to the top. We are after EtL, he's like Gadhaffi, and trust me we are not no French airforce droppin concrete bombs. the sooner you stop letting him hide behind y'all, the sooner we are friends

He is not hiding behind no one. Well maybe if this war came to an end, he would say something nice enough like good job in beating the crap out of us in the end or something else. idk. but unless the war ends, then i dont think it will happen.

Why cling to an old leader that refuses to be a true leader and take it on the chin when it comes to admitting defeat.

I have a lot of respect for some members of OE, but ETL is not one of them.

So here's a suggestion for you. if you want peace, and you want us to get along. Either split from OE and use a new name, a new start, a new look. Or do something from within to ensure a new start e.g remove the dead weight holding you down.

Potato, Potarto. Omega is OE, if your leader of the main alliance, you should effectively be leader of the lower too.

In which case, take your active members and become leader of your own alliance / empire all together... problem solved, TA would likely give you a short term nap, and those holding you back whilst in OE will have no one to hide behind and no one to fight their battles for them. Nor will they be seen a a threat to anyone then.

You say we haven't earned a long NAP like others have done when you don't realize the situation you and your "empire" are in. This isn't some server war where we were all exhausted and felt like giving a fight another shot on another day. This is a war between OE and TAF. You might want it to end, but above all else we want resolution to this blood feud. You are in no position to disagree with terms that are more than generous. The longer this war goes on, the more your "empire" will fade into the history books.

A good alliance leadership realizes when they are beaten and when it's time to move on and rebuild. You sir are beaten. It's time to admit it, move on and rebuild so this game doesn't lose one of its famous old alliances. Our generosity only goes so far and it most certainly doesn't extend far enough to allow you to walk away from this war without admitting what has truly happened here.

Our counter-terms were too generous and rescinded. You want this war to end? Gain some humility and admit defeat. I have had a chat with my alliance, some would like it to end, some dont care if it ends or not.

I will keep trying to talk to math, but what he and the TAF HC want is only giving a short solution. I am trying to get a long term solution and make relations better between our two empires. Something that the TAF HC is not trying to do.

Like I keep saying, no matter how long or short the nap is. There will be this blood feud.

You are not wanting to try getting relations better. What you are looking for is effectively a short term solution to the problem Math. That is what Im trying to have you see, like I see it.

You want a 6 month long NAP or a permanent NAP, just so we can end the war(s). That is doing nothing to fix or have better relations.

What can a 6 month long or a permanent NAP going to do, when both sides will keep talking crap to each other. Which will keep the tensions high between TAF and OE to eventually invoke a massing by the other side, which will make us go back to war again.

If you disagree with this last paragraph, please tell me how you think this NAP will go that the TAF HC want?

Can you really honestly tell me that tensions will not be high and that the NAP will not be broken by either side, Math? If OE were to give you a 6 month NAP or a permanent NAP

Admitting defeat, and accepting our terms will do a lot more for the mutual respect and overall thought process towards each other than you seem to realise. relationships take time, but taking the first steps is what matters most. There has been so much disagreement in the past you cant expect to solve it instantly, but small things add up.

Perhaps by agreeing to our terms, in return we can agree that along side the long term nap, there is to be no negative posting about each other on forums, or in game.

lol if you recall the first offer I gave was for an eternal NAP...one where we never saw each other ingame again. Minimum we want is 6 months (of course with the option for it continue).

For some reason you think a shorter NAP will solve our issues more than a longer NAP which is your prerogative I guess. Regardless, what will truly solve this problem is you facing the situation you are in and admitting defeat.

Now aside from all of that. I think you will notice how peaceful situations become with alliances we get NAPs with. They are good solutions to problems because, surprise surprise, noone attacks eachother. If someone does attack the other, it's repaid. Easy. No problems. The best way to get rid of bad blood and to calm tensions is not to see the other in the attack logs ever. Each time someone attacks allows someone to think "this wasn't worth taking" or "I should respond by hitting two of their members" so on and so forth. We've seen every permutation of how the lack of a NAP can lead to war, especially with Omega.

You should ask the other alliances we have NAPs with about how frequently we violate them. Aside from new members who haven't read treaties yet, we have no problems abiding by our treaties. If you're suggesting that OE will constantly break the NAP after it's signed, then that's another matter...but I don't think you will.

Again I don't think you understand the situation of this war. This isn't about me convincing you the merits of a long NAP. This is about you impressing us with terms and showing some humility. You have no idea how far some humility will go in this game towards our attitudes and how we will treat you. I have no problem with putting away bad blood if you show respect to what has truthfully happened in this war and, trust me, if I can put away bad blood with Omega, anyone can.

Edit @ Tziki and Rudy: Yes, we've had similar clauses with long NAPs before to keep insults away from the forums and from pm's. That's pretty standard protocol.

TAF will not get what they want, cause what TAF wants does not attempt to fix this.

Like you said, you are in no position in TAF do say anything like you did.

What TAF is not asking for is not little, Asking for a long term NAP and that is all. With the chance of making things better.

What i am asking is making it better here and now, not in the future or a chance in the future.

Math told me himself, he wants the long term NAP so we never have to war again. That is doing nothing but putting a short term stop.
