How they came to be: Ayianna, an unascended Ancient who was left behind on Earth when the Ancients left between five and 10 million years ago, taking the city of Atlantis
to the distant Pegasus Galaxy. Ayiana was unearthed in a block of ice not far from where the second Stargate was discovered in Antarctica, where Atlantis was once located. After
succumbing to an illness she brought to the world (and saving a few people from it) she lacked the strength to heal herself and later died. However after a few years passed her
amazing Ancient self-healing techniques bought her to a state of weak conciousness, as time passed she grew stronger and eventualy escaped the facility her body was stored at.
Hijacking a small ship she traverses the galaxies growing in power and trying to find other Ancients to aid, it was rumoured she attempted an ascension a few months back and
failed, although still powerful she is now only a demi-god, looking for help.

How they came to be: An italian scientist and pioneer of AI and computer programming whilst being a lead in her field Maria is currently responsible for studying
the practical uses and programming of nanites and is second in the area to both Dr's McKay and Sam Carter. Maria was caught by the trust originally and used to help reprogramme Osiri's Alkesh
with the Goa'uld under the orders of Col Simmons. After being picked up by the US Government who refused to deport the Italian national Maria was offered an official pardon if she created the
necessary coding for the replicators used by Marrick in the Ori galaxy. General G Hammond offered her the position at the SGC which she turned down and after the attack by the Wraith General
Landry offered her a position again which she accepted. Maria has taken a long break from her nanite work in order to assist in the work for Destiny and it's AI systems.
Maria is single and has no children, has never been married and both her parents are dead. She has one sister who lives in Mongolia as a geologist. Maria graduated from the University of Milan.
