hmm, there is an option to that.
What if the trade pages, where they take place, are one alliance pages.

Like, you look at the rankings pages with alliances, and an extra link indicating trades
players can look there and set and accept trades, this will bring a huge interaction between players and alliances, bringing more players together, what in my opinion is a major part of this game.

This is another option, although it may be better to have a 'past trades' separate.
Just have to be careful people don't camp out and just wait for a vulnerable person.

Essentially, turn the market into a 3rd party. So basically instead of it being automatic, a buyer has to find a seller etc. They would still be able to see the best buys and stuff, they would just have to find them for themselves. (like amazon)

One thing though, this is something that has always been brought up whenever someone has suggested that brokers don't go into the open. It will remove the risk of trading if the buyer/seller can attain the goods when they log-in. While I personally don't have a problem with that, I just wanted to bring up that is has usually been a big thing when others have suggested it and wanted to know your thoughts on that aspect.

Does their even need to be a risk involved though? There could always be something like the 3-days-before-it's-removed deal.

I just figured someone would bring it up eventually and wanted to get it out of the way now if possible

All good then, people use brokers anyway to ascend so there is no need to add negative effects because of that.
