Looking at the logs it didnt actually look like Ascended Elite players massed anyone. Although it appears that the majority of them were holding back till the last turn where they all ranked up lol! I think at one stage took 1,2 and 3. They came from no where, indeed a very good job.

IT will be interesting to see where everyone placed though.

It seems like they tagger Legend hard actually. They didn't bother me though.

Thanks Riviera - I was mainly playing for era glory since I started so late, but was pleased overall. I lost a LOT of spies trying to revenge Legend though - since he asked hehe. the defense was too strong for me though.

Did anyone in Ascended Elite actually make any attacks on active accounts over the final few hours? I didn't notice any, though I was pretty busy myself.

Was Legend sabotaged at the end there? I thought he was just passed by Elg and Gunit. I'm sure I saw him in third - perhaps not though.

The guys in Ascended Elite (myself included) sabbed each other constantly with 1 spy and 'phased' ourselves out to avoid random sabbing but we kept our noses out of other peoples logs and it worked.

Might be worth the suggestion box for the next era to stop it though, to promote chaos at the end game.

As much as I'd love to take the credit, I would have never been able to touch you without Gob's help. Sorry, about that again, but there were a lot of defenseless covert units, and my AC units were hungry, as they had been denied the glory of taking out many other people's covert units in previous attempts made earlier. There was some peer pressure too, as I got a couple of private messages stating that I should do it. And am I ever a sucker for peer pressure...
