In addition to housing a life sized Dalek, the walls of Fab Cafe are also adorned with cult movie posters and DJs are generally accommodating of obscure requests. In my experience, it's a great place to 'begin' an evening. I took my Uni friends there when we all met up, but they said it was 'probably the nerdiest place they've ever been in their lives' - I figure if anybody's going to love it as much as I do, it'll be SGW players.

Also, I am happy to be called Greg.

This place sounds like win incarnate. I'll have him play something odd like reapers of the hay english rappers or William Shatner and Leonard Nemoys musical collaboration or some other tripe like that.

Manchester is a very cosmopolitan place so pretty much anything goes. Just dress smart, casual and comfortably Jim.

The last time i was in Fab (a couple of weekends ago) there was a group of people dressed as a rubik cube, a twister (mb games) board and a mr potato head. Everyone else (the place was packed) was just wearing "ordinary" clothes.

Semper, they already play the Shatner/Nimoy collection quite readily

Personally i shall not be attending in a sheet with holes cut out of it, sorry folks.

@Goo. Well then, that shall indeed be a first! Only time I have ever dressed up in costume was at university for some birthdays and I was intoxicated prior to the dressing so shame was already absent. Although I would have enjoyed seeing how long you lasted in a bed sheet with holes in it!

I don't wear hoodies anymore on the outside nowadays.
I wear shirts. I was just asking to know if people had to come in a Jedi costume, Jaffa suit or whatever at this Cafe. I don't have these, thus why I asked!
