Bug: Enemy doesn't take 5x losses for supers.

I went back and checked through my logs and found where I made 2 hits back to back. Both defenses were over 60Q. My losses reflect purely super losses (multiplied by 5 for total losses). The problem is the enemy isn't taking 5x losses for supers. They are essentially losing the amount of "normal" planets that they should be losing as supers.

Unless for some reason sending in half the number of fleets against a defense means taking 3x or more the losses for the attacker, then there may be a calculation error somewhere.

wait wait wait, so you're saying that because they aren't loosing as much as you are, then it must be a bug? If command stars add power to the attack (or defence) then it will effect results, and if any normal planets are trained it will skew the 'x-planets destroyed' as well. Not to mention differences in powerups will allow people to train more or less to get the same amount of power, which you guess it, skews the results ;)
But i don't see the problem, if you invade someones territory then expect to get more losses, after all they know the place better than you.

Re: Bug: Enemy doesn't take 5x losses for supers.

Oh right good point. Sending in half the number of supers should cause 3x the losses, since you send in so much fewer attackers you should definitely suffer heavy losses. Like in main when you send in half the troops you take heavy losses... the difference is you fail in main. Since when is ascended just as much a defensive game as main?

It seems some calculations are changed, not mentioned in any update mind, to GREATLY protect the defender. Good work. I guess there has to be some way to slow down people, but just let people know about it in the updates area instead of them having to search to this thread to find it ;)

So guys and gals with 7bil planets, build a huge defense, as many as you can spare, and some assassins to defend it and you are unmassable except by those with 30-40bil planets they don't mind losing. There aren't THAT many of those from the top 10 page ;) New features in ascended are fun!

1 more thing... my command star adds up to 9Q to my strike. So I am sending far fewer than would be required. My assault level is 1672. So yeah, I always send way fewer attackers to attack someone. But like I said, you have to have some way to slow me down, right?

I haven't intentionally changed anything about attacking so far except adding demi-gods, the arena gear, removing the create revolution thing and slightly increasing the amount of planets 'destroy' kills (and IT WAS only for destroy planets) :-k. I'll take a look at the code and compare it to an old version anyway, something may have seeped through.

edit
apologies, it was a form of a bug, attackers units were killed a few more fold more than they should, it's fixed now anyway.

Can I get my attack supers back that sacrificed their lives to find this bug? ;)

Fair enough, the 700mil planets i lost in excess to what I should have lost is nothing to worry about when I will have them back in a few days... but now my ME will be forever skewed. Can you at least 100% reset my ME? Because that is just embarrassing to lose so many planets with my skill and levels. It's a pride thing ;)

Stop being selfish, he should reset the whole servers ME. Not just yours.

Re: Bug: Enemy doesn't take 5x losses for supers.

Admin never reimburses players for minor effects of bugs, so i don't see why this is any different, and anyway you saw what was being destroyed, you could have stopped, but you didn't.
As for the ME, i have little care for pride , and there is a temp one for a reason, you can easily make up for it anyway.

He makes a good point, reset whole server ME ;)

And yes I can easily make up for it sure, that isn't even a question? Are you kidding me now? I'm asking you to remove the footprints of one bug (of many) that is easily done, and one day after the fact ;) Or you can leave the fact that you had a bug, denied it was a bug, then finally found it. Whatever :)

Re: Bug: Enemy doesn't take 5x losses for supers.

Don't really care about the ME, it affected everyone, it's not ranked, it has little effect (if anything) on the game. You will just have to remember when you sell later on to include, '700 mill of the 580 billion super attack planets that i have lost were because of that bug back in the day'. If it really destroys your reputation, and stops every possibility that you will sell the account, then i may consider removing that black mark on your record.
