I am waiting for the downsides reports from players who have only trained 1 unit in each category and amped them.

I cant imagine if that everyone would have only one(or two for that matter affy) units trained in each category which will not die that this can be any fun ...
I mean, how can one 'kill' another then ?

If so many people have already worked out this amazing, simple, cheap strategy of how to win, how are we going to deal with the problem that only 1 person can win?

So at this point it seems that having 1 unit and pumping the *&%$ out of levels is the way to go. That is great right now, but what if that person doesn't build any UP and in a months time they have 10k army and someone else has 30mil army? Do we know who is going to have to best income out of those two?

As for whether or not units can die... I am not sure about att/def/cov units, but my 2 AC units that were amped like crazy (I had about rank 5 AC) got smooshed faster than a fly in flyswat land (oh dear that was bad) when I hit someone with defense.

Has sabbing been tested? Do we know if there are limits on how far you can amp a unit?

If you ask me, this wave will take a lot of strategy to win.

Irrespective of whether you win or lose a sabotage mission with one unit - it dies. Lol.

Seriously, I've tested it. So, if you play the one unit game, then you can't sab for an entire era without losing your 'ampage'.

Why does that suck? You can play the 1 unit game, but you are severely limited to what you can do as if you lose that 1 unit, you lose a large amount of naq spent on amping it. However, If you have 100,000 units only amped a little bit and you sab someone, you only lose 5% of your units.

I know it is not possible right now, but once there is more naq and people have bigger armies, you will see.

I am not saying that having 1 unit in each is a bad idea, it MAY be the best idea, but I don't think it will be as simple as you are saying. Remember that if you have 100k units, your power starts at 100,000 times what the person with 1 has. You upgrade all of them by 10 and you have 1mil times their initial power. For them to match that 1mil times more power then will have to spend A LOT of naq on 1 unit.

If they lose that 1 unit they lose A LOT of naq. If you lose 1 unit, or 10 units, or 50,000 units, you lose almost no naq. Also, your UP is so high that it doesn't matter if you lose units.
