How do you fund covert 38 (and higher)?

I have reached a dilemma. The cost of getting out of this dilemma is approximately 832 trillion naquadah, which to me is a astoundingly high.

The power differential between covert levels 40 and 37, or even 39 and 37, is enormous. And then there are people with those 39s and 40s in anti-covert levels, who can AC through even the biggest of defenses.

I do not spend $ on buying resources. I do not have 600 hours of my life to donate to farming naquadah (i worked out at my average farming profits, and the time it takes to get it, it is approx 600 hours for 800 tril naq, even if I spent an optimistic 10 hours a week farming, that is 14 months of farming if I am able to save 100% of it). Also I am not a cheat or a scammer.

So how can a fairly casual player, such as myself, raise the funds to get my account to a point where I stand just a very slim chance of being able to defend myself against those accounts with huge levels?

Has anyone manged to do it and maintain a regular life outside this game? If so, how?

Could try to get loans from other players, and pay back in increments.
Or could partner up with friends/allies to achieve the goal mutually.

Good ideas. However who is going to give out an 800 tril loan knowing it's going to take 1.5 years to pay it back?

And if you partner up, your not helping because then you'll have 2 or more levels to get for all of the accounts to be just about useable in a war situation.

A casual part time player who wont $pend cant, simple as that.

Few ways to get 38+ without $$$s all require extreme activity

1) Massive activity farming with a good farm list. Raiding works too but takes longer and UU prices are generally lower & fluctuate a lot more.

2) Alliance dues programs, though they take so long most in the alliance will never receive so will only fund the couple of best, most loyal and most active fighters.

3) Trading, buy low, sell high, trading can be very profitable.



And you are right about AC cutting through everything, it's power is totally out of proportion to all other account attributes and wins battles on it's own. Only real def is lifering which in itself is very expensive, and creating lifers in a online fight is far to slow compared to simply training more ACers.

Not bad, and you could sell those for 100 trill easy, maybe 120 trill if sold in smaller deals

So assume you already have level 37

Level 38 costs 825 Trill

Level 39 costs 1650 trill

Level 40 costs 3300 Trill

Thats 5775 Trill ( 5.775 Quadrillion ) in total

So if your getting 60 trill per week every week raiding to get it would take you

Level 38 = 14 weeks

Level 39 = Additional 28 weeks

Level 40 = Additional 55 weeks

Thats 97 weeks in total, almost 2 years, and if you want Covert and AC 40 double that, nearly 4 years

However I funded my level 38 through the TL program. everyone gives person A 138trill naq this week, to person B the next week and so on. Sometimes we took 2 weeks... whatever. This way the last person will have level 38 by the time one person farms/raids enough for it and everyone else gets theirs sooner. Thats the theory at least.

I'm gonna start farming mine soon enough, once I start it'll take 3 weeks to a month max. Only real option for a casual player though, is finding some very cheap sellers and some good buyers. Otherwise, there's no real way to get it fast enough, sadly.

Play the market..

Buy when it's cheap, sell for more... Doing this got me to 37/37 over a year ago.. might be harder to do nowadays..

or

Sell UU for cash, invest it in black market turns, raid raid raid, repeat.

Much faster than farming and if you know how to, who to and what to raid you can make upwards of 50m UU a turn..

Stay focused on the goal.. don't get half way there and then say "Damn my MS sucks.. ooooh now it's top 20!! My covert still sucks though... :'( "

Take major advantage whenever the holiday black market comes around, sell your UU or NAQ for cash around the first week of december.. because thanks to the doubled rates the player market will crash for the next 4-5 months.

No matter what avenue you take it wont come real quick..The way I did mine, I used a few bucks to make a few bucks..I started a paypal account specifically for GW gaming..I raid a little, farm a little, sell a little and after a bit my money accumulates to where I can spend it on a level or 2. With naq so cheap now the cash I have accumulated in my paypal is worth allot more....I dunno..be creative, have a junk sale or yard sale and put all proceeds into a paypal account specific for GW and buy the naq you need.

i think you should try farming more high yield, i mean with bigger strike for bigger naq. so less ats needed and time for farming lots. but there is limit to how much you can farm that way i mean not many people with 500bil or more naq out. at least not as many as with 40bil naq out.

try doing math this way i'm sure you'd save some time.

but to be realistic.. farm around 400T sell it for $. sell your account for $. and you'll buy yourself a C38 with probably better MS than yours...


but tbh your calculations are a bit off. if i was farming for 10 hours a week.. i'm sure i'd farm at least 20T naq... and this already would change your calculation from 14 month to 10 month.
