How do you fund covert 38 (and higher)?

I have reached a dilemma. The cost of getting out of this dilemma is approximately 832 trillion naquadah, which to me is a astoundingly high.

The power differential between covert levels 40 and 37, or even 39 and 37, is enormous. And then there are people with those 39s and 40s in anti-covert levels, who can AC through even the biggest of defenses.

I do not spend $ on buying resources. I do not have 600 hours of my life to donate to farming naquadah (i worked out at my average farming profits, and the time it takes to get it, it is approx 600 hours for 800 tril naq, even if I spent an optimistic 10 hours a week farming, that is 14 months of farming if I am able to save 100% of it). Also I am not a cheat or a scammer.

So how can a fairly casual player, such as myself, raise the funds to get my account to a point where I stand just a very slim chance of being able to defend myself against those accounts with huge levels?

Has anyone manged to do it and maintain a regular life outside this game? If so, how?

Few ways to get 38+ without $$$s all require extreme activity

1) Massive activity farming with a good farm list. Raiding works too but takes longer and UU prices are generally lower & fluctuate a lot more.

2) Alliance dues programs, though they take so long most in the alliance will never receive so will only fund the couple of best, most loyal and most active fighters.

3) Trading, buy low, sell high, trading can be very profitable.



And you are right about AC cutting through everything, it's power is totally out of proportion to all other account attributes and wins battles on it's own. Only real def is lifering which in itself is very expensive, and creating lifers in a online fight is far to slow compared to simply training more ACers.

Not bad, and you could sell those for 100 trill easy, maybe 120 trill if sold in smaller deals

So assume you already have level 37

Level 38 costs 825 Trill

Level 39 costs 1650 trill

Level 40 costs 3300 Trill

Thats 5775 Trill ( 5.775 Quadrillion ) in total

So if your getting 60 trill per week every week raiding to get it would take you

Level 38 = 14 weeks

Level 39 = Additional 28 weeks

Level 40 = Additional 55 weeks

Thats 97 weeks in total, almost 2 years, and if you want Covert and AC 40 double that, nearly 4 years

dammmmmn considering how long it would take and how often you need it, I think I will work on something else

if you buy AT's at say 900b per 1k and you take 3x 4k MT AT's per week and farm for an avarage of 35b a hit, how lone would it take to achive Norbe objective, Im to lazy to create a spreadsheet LOL

basicly with that rate you'd have to buy half a million at's and farm with them. how long? depends how quickly you buy and farm.

If you do some hardcore farming lvl 39 takes 3-4 months. Maybe less if you really have no life.

I agree with most said, why should a casual gamer compete with the more dedicated accounts/players

personally i think alliance programmes are the way to go for bigger levels (37,38,39)

people are more willing to do them as it seems like less of a task farming 100T 8 times than farming 800T on your own

War shouldnt be the answer to just get more powerful for a part time player.

If I read Norbe's original post correctly he never said less active players 'should' be able to get the same accounts as highly active ones. All he asked was what is the best way for a casual player non $$$pender to get these higher levels.



Personally I think self regulation is way forward, allowing people to fight accounts at there own level ( or close to ) in organised Team Battles instead of the open war where the biggest stomp on everyone else.

well, AT's are the Key to get those LVL's.

Once you figure out how many you need to get C38... you already found an active player, who can get you those 800Trill in 2 weeks. I know I could. .I've already did it in less..

now, how you get the AT? well, beats me. ..

can be done mate. farming has lost its appeal nowdays but when you have 1-2 extra days where you might be able to spend a few extra hours then it makes it more effiecent.

other way of doing it get 2-3 good hits like 300ttrill+ and your there

agree with the points that at this level the time consumption against buying things with $$ is just totally ridiculous.

the amount of time id take to farm for lets say covert 38 if you simply do maybe 10-20 overtime at your regular job then imagine what you could buy with that and you saved all that time farming, i know people who did it this way

I had two 15 tril naq hits yesterday. It all depends on who misses their PPT's. Combination of that, selling any excess UU you accumulate, have a big income and a defence to keep it, farm, raid, UP, sell and buy its do able in less time.

I recently bought about 3Q naq between $0.14 - $0.17. It all got sold at $0.20 and above. Even if I take this at the most extreme, that's $90 profit. Again at the higher rate that's 450t naq. I actually made around $165, but I'm using that to further consolidate my profits. It's no lie, supply and demand in this game relates to the current wars, people love to talk and you soon know when people will need naq!

Explore the market, see what is available. UU rates go up and down regularly, if you can stand the patience, it's usually a great way to make a bit of extra naq. Sell when it's good and buy when it's bad. It's easy to tell because there will either be more "selling" or "buying" threads.

Farming is easy these days if you can dedicate time, I hear of people farming 200t in a matter of days and though I cannot do that personally. If you sit down in an evening and explore, you can find copious amounts of decent naq. The personal ATs have pushed AT prices down. 10t profit a day is very manageable.

DMU is also at an extortinate rate, I've heard of people buying 1Q DMU for 800b Naq, it's in extremely high demand so selling it would be easy. I can farm 30Q in ascended in 2 turn changes and I'm terrible at farming ascended!

There are all little ways of doing it, keep your eyes peeled for the latest bargain and capitalise when it comes your way!

You say you don't know many who'd loan ya, when me and my mates have given each other levels 37 and 38. Maybe a new set of friends? (Joke!)

TAF is big last time I checked, Covert program is the way to go for you guys. Help each other. It worked for TL, DDE, AG and so others.
