My original alliance I was apart of. Friends from school. We all signed up, and formed the alliance. Surprised they made the list.

Only requirement to continue existing is having 5 members. These 5 members can be on vacation; even though the alliance management page will say your member count dropped by one, you will not be deleted.
Explains a few of those 'empty alliances' on the list.


@Sarevok; TA was used as an example of an old alliance, so I listed everyone up to their ID; of course, since TA had this happen (see quote) their ID is not really representative, and the list for most intents and purposes meaningless.

Fun facts: Average ID of all 433 alliances is 13006. There are 3262 people in an alliance. On average, there are 7.5 people in any given alliance. Top alliances in member count in spoiler.
(Again, the limit was put at the Tauri Alliance to restrict the list.)

lol I remember when I joined DoC, Star.aka Unknown321 hit the disband button while trying to accept me...briefly I was the only DoC member haha

I swear to god that button is too tempting.

I remember how hard we tried when our alliance 1ic Opticallove went inactive to get back the 1ic so we could continue to run the alliance. It took about a month if memory serves to convince Jason to pass tags to another TA member. All that effort to preserve the id...then we disbanded anyway. Oh and there was this bug in 05 that randomly threw most people out of their alliances and prevented some alliances from re-inviting people for awhile. We formed a side alliance called The Nox for a little while run by *gasp* Nox to bring together all the stranded peoples.

2005 was so much fun.
