Well seeing as i know someone who spend approx $1000-1500 just to build a planet and a defense for it, nothing would surprise me, and the person isnt even in OE, DDE, TL etc, and the last i heard they still managed to lose the planet anyway LOL.

Not a matter of a boring life, rather of having enough money to spend. You might find people who say "Oh, I bought for 10$, and that is all I am willing to give to this game, because I have like no income but my salary from work", and you might find people whose incomes are a factor 10 to 1000 above the Regular Tom, **Filtered** and Harry. Money is no good to you unless you use it. (Of course, I could think of a few other things to spend it on, but what about the people who spend their money on those things, and still have lots to spare? Why not spend on the game. Sure makes it a less tedious game.) ;)
