and you only get 1.5 bil in rewards max right ?

I think I might get it, but I havn't had a single reward yet and I'm positive I'm due at least 2..

Unfortunately that's not what it says , was a bit difficult to explain in a few words but pretty much, your planet 'kill count' on a single person is measured up until 36 hours after they are slaughtered.
So if you kill 5 bill planets 4 days before some guy gets slaughtered by someone else who destroys 2 bill planets on him, you won't get the planets. If you did it say a day before someone else slaughters him, you will get the planets. It was to stop people from destroying chunks of planets and leaving the person out to get slaughtered by someone else so you wouldn't have to waste any turns and get the maximum benefit.

This is the reason i expect. You have to read this very very carefully. Its quite complicated. It basically means, as i understand it in its simplest terms, if you teamed up to destroy someone (whether by accident or by design) you stand a distinct chance of never actually receiving a planetary reward and, if you do get one it will take upto 36hrs to be awarded.

It basically means two things really. If you are purposefully teaming up on people or leaving the hard work after the planets are mostly destroyed (ie. the slaughter) to someone else (pressumably in a tactical move to gain planets/conserve turns for the endgame) then you stand a large chance of being penalised through planetary gains. If you experience an army coming back from a realm you are sending one to (ie. accidental teamwork) you are faced with the decision either to risk the penalty and go for the kill or opress elsewhere. In an imperfect system (in my opinion) it is the most perfect way to discourage playing in a manner that the system was not really designed for.

the 36 hours ! has nothing to with the time when you are rewarded, you should be awarded instantly

the 36 hours is ! if you kill a load of planets, and they are still alive in 36 hours , all your kills are voided and the person who has killed the most within the 36 hours will get the reward not you
