Page error Message

Not really a game bug but i'm not sure where to put this.

On gatewars i keep getting the page not found/chrome can't connect error every other click of a link.To be exact Sometimes i can get 5 mins with no issues, others i cant bank, repair, rebank in less then 10 mins I've got no issues on any other site.

Any ideas what i could do to remedy this? Switching browsers i considered, but i'm attached to my chrome for GWs

Chrome is a **Filtered** up browser.

Do you have the same issue when you are on Chrome in another workstation?
If no, did you try to re-install Chrome?

The "c" browser i like for some things, browser games not. The question here i think is are you experiencing the problem when travelling back through history? The C browser is incredibly strict on cookies. For instance, if i use C, and i'm using the quick attack buttons and then hitting back to view the ranks again i cannot without refreshing (resubmitting my request for the page). Firefox and others will allow you to do this within a timeframe of about 5 minutes. Another thing i note with the C browser is, if i have a few tabs of the same gate wars server open (be it quantum, main or asc) and i time out, when i log in again the other tabs of the same server will not refresh until i resend the request (click yes please dumb browser rubbish i'd like to do the thing i just asked you to do for me, k, thanks).

In short, C? No.

No, it was like the links were going down intermittently. IE i could take naq out, but then clicking the repair tab would bring me a cannot connect message. I'd be refreshing that like a mad man until it came back up, then the attack page, or the bank would go down. Or all of them at the same time.

Will try and reinstall it. I'm loathe to go back to firefox, it was dire on my old laptop. Might run better on ze new one.

That does not sound good. Do you have a security app such as Spybot or (the slightly useful but avoidable) windows defender? Might want to run a scan just in case it's a hijack issue.

Would that target a particular site though? Because i dont have any issues on anything but the main game.

I've ran norton and nothing is coming up, will try S&D

Well, some malgubbins do target specific. I've seen malware deny access to forums such as TechGeek and others. Even stop you from downloading specific .exe files like S&D, Killbox, all AV progs including the mighty Panda Cloud (shameless plug) and CCleaner.

I'd honestly prefer not to underestimate the level of hijinx these malwares can get upto these days. An S&D scan is very untaxing on system resources so i'd recommend a once a week scan anyhow
