I am not all that sure on what happened to it, i think its safe to assume it went down like the other servers, but just killed.


I remember playing the first wave (era/year) but i quit after that, it changed way to much and was too crowded when i attempted a comeback.

The Original Chaos Wars was great, crazy numbers, and basically allowed you to build way higher than you ever could on main, i think after the 2nd wave admin dropped the server, and did he not give it out to an outside dev to work with it, but they made it way complicated and i dont think it ever recovered from that,

I think the server crashed and Admin J never got a reply from the devs that took over it, so he cut it loose.

Perhaps somewhere jason still has the original Code for Chaos, if he's anything like me, he'll have a copy of every majot update to any game he's worked on. someone should ask him nicly

i dont think hed go for it.. i mean theres already alot going on... sadly... i mean what is up with Orgins people are actually playing that? why would i wanna go back in time... i guess if u wanted a simpler game.. but still... i miss the absolute mayhem of Chaos server... always trying to make the best technique with the new stuff.. i guess its like quantum now adays .. thats prob where i should put attention next wave...

chaos died the slow death over the past years. the upgrades were good but the player base too small. the original chaos, while undeniably fun, was also very unbalanced. If Jason had put in the effort necessary to make it work, it could've been a great game. especially if the chaotic nature of the different races had been maintained.

a lot of the plans for the new chaos were too slow in coming, systems being left out due to them not being finished. It was a few months ago or so that Jason asked us to remove the chaos section, though it had been far longer since it was last truly used.

The unbalances were what made it so fun though. It was literally what it was, chaos. Thats why everyone enjoyed it so much.. it was so ridiculous you just couldn't take it seriously and instead you just had fun. There was no SS, $$ domination or spending either. I really enjoyed the first wave of chaos more than i've enjoyed any other kingdom game.

Chaos was fun, i miss the game. It was a very interested concept, interestingly implemented.

towards the end of the rebuilt chaos, we tried to work towards a far more chaotic setup, but the admins in charge of it wished to have a balanced game...

And thats where a game dies, when the devs/admins do not listen to there player base, your doomed.
