Oh and what I made this topic for.. So lately and really for some time it seems like this forum has lacked role playing in any sense. More and more it's just a numbers competition and spending frenzy to make those numbers bigger. This is what I'd like to propose, lets add some role play. It doesn't have to be huge or novels, but just little things to spice things up. If you're in an alliance war, why not RP a post about your massing or mothership combat.
Everyone always talks about the old days and while that gets old, it does have a leg to stand on. Back in the heyday people would be Goa'uld or Asgard and banter would insue. These days its just vitriol and insults in each and every war. RP will add some flavor and make wars more memorable. Take Deathlok for instance, never met or talked to her but I have a great time reading her vendetta's because of the RP value.
So take it for it is, you don't have to.. you might not even like the idea. I really feel like it'd add something and liven things up a bit. That or at least drop by the RP section once in awhile, its a pretty cool place! lol
