I think if GnR is reset, it can't go below 1k.
That would be extremely unfair to people that are saving to ascend to set them back to 0 and have to wait weeks...

I wont name and shame them here but I personally know of over a dozen players who have over 100K G&R, they are all very big players with top accounts

I'm pretty sure even +20k is above average.

K average for older players who have been playing a few years and finishing ascending

From the people I have spoken to it the major alliance I would guestimate that average at 50K

There are obviously still ascending newer players much much lower, and the same extremes much much higher




Perhaps admin should do a database search and tell us the true stats of what G&R people have,

X No @ Less than 1K

X No @ 1-10K

X No @ 10-20K

etc etc so we can see who many will significantly benefit from this update



Also if G&R become a resource, shouldnt they be included in Spy reports ???

tbh i think you are all looking at this wrong, it's more important to make sure the stuff that can be bought with GnR is not a game breaker rather than whining it's unfair that people who saved it up over the years have too much of an advantage.

They only HAVE an advantage if the rewards we can buy are powerful. We already have planets, house bonuses and 23x ascension level bonuses to inflate our stats way, way beyond anything the game was initially designed for. There is zero reason to further inflate stats with stupidly powerful GNR bonuses.

I'd like to see Glory being used for things like buying SS/USS/Merlins/BM cash market goods rather than new stronger weapons, double income, 100% AB etc.

People just gonna walk away from the game 1st time they get owned by these ridiculously overpowered proposed GnR bonuses.

Just make it so 1k GnR gives you $10 worth of resources to buy off the cash market. You want a triple fine, get it with GnR, need a name change, no problem, save up for a USS using GnR. That is how i would do it.

If that happens then honestly who cares if someone has 400k saved up it gives them no more advantage than dumping $400 into the cash market would and it still gives an incentive for people to stay off Nox to collect more.

I do hope it gets reset though, would make things more interesting if this update goes through with the idea of exchanging the GnR for naq.

What would people think about GnR affecting alliance/house ranks too? Holding more GnR would mean more alliance power, include it with the last update on how alliance power was worked out. I think it would make things quite interesting.

it cant be $10 thats all im saying, if some 1 has 390k or even 500k that would be 4-5k worth of stuff n no way are admin gunna give that away, thats like 8 to 10 quad lol

lol true, rates would need to be settled on, i just don't want there to be stupidly overpowered "i win" features for people to buy, it's bad enough trying to fight people with higher covert/AC levels, if the double defense one and 100% AB ones are put in that is effectively quadrupling defense score for 24 hrs, let alone what those new weapons will add to the mix...

Again, why should the older accounts be given such an advantage? I mean some accounts do have a huge amount of GnRs and they'd be given a huge amount of naq, and would even further separate from newer accounts which are meant to be catching older accounts.

As for my GnR count - 1, I just ascended.
