While talking to a friend online last night, we kinda came up with this new idea


It is called sleep mode, in which you use when you go to sleep. It is a 7 hour sleep mode, where you can use it once in a 24 hour period. You cannot be attacked and you cannot attack.

In this sleep mode people\\\'s UP and ATs stay the same. Except people with accounts higher than EAG and sizes of over 175mil will have there income at half and get half there UP per turn.
While the smaller accounts will still get full income and full UP per turn to help them grow.

When using sleep mode or about to, you can not Sabb, Lifer suicide, massing (10 hits + same person) or conquest a planet from anyone 2 hours prior or u can not enter sleep mode next 2 H after dooing so.

PPT should be 2 Days MAX and you can not be on ppt or have ended a ppt at least 3 hours before going into sleep mode. You can not go on ppt within 4 hours of coming off of sleep mode.

However once in sleep mode, once logged out and you go to log back it it drips you out of sleep mode. As this is for people who want to log in a bit earlier to bank and train before it can get taken away.

Why this is good:
- Sleep well
- Boosting smaller players
- Preventing Abusing PPT-s and boosting activity
- Preventing HIT and run type off playing and give a hitted player a chance to fight back fairly and not wait 4 days

Their are many people beeing snipped and run to PPT by attackers and most of them weeker players get beaten. Bigger alliances hit and run also exaclty when target sleeping because know it all who and when and in morning half of hitter on PPT ...

I think WAR should be more interested if their is bigger chance that both sides online and defend and attack style of fight and not only HIT and RUN ...

how does it help small players at all? a smaller players income and up is probably going to be less than half a big players anyway, and 7 hours of income and up isn't gonna do much in the first place.

Thats why they are semi active ... hard to keep resources and stats they build when sleeping ... in morning they see beeing massed just to be a target for some ... and PPT is abused for HIT and RUN actions ( massing, taking planets, sabbing ... ) ...

first of all, this forum-skin wont lemme vote. ever.

second: as mentioned above this is a war game. Maybe this should only be available to those with ascension levels 5 or lower (not daimons) OR under a 25mil army; And like other features, maybe only available 30 days after activation of your account. It would freeze your account. You can only have 2 of these per week, must buy from market.

1 sleep-mode = 1 MT max 2 per week. Which means you can have 1 PPT and 2 sleep modes, or 2 ppt and 1 sleep mode.

I cant really see this working any other way. It needs to have limitations like ppt. Use of Market-Turn would be a necessity.

Just don't give out war sets if you can't be around to protect it. With alliance repair and PPT, and in the long term only 3 days per week where you're not on PPT this would be overkill.

My advice - build 20T defs. Easy enough to put up again ( for a decent time interval atleast) and the most fun ones to onliner with
