If I ascend I think I will use the black market way, sure it costs 10$ but I don't want to buy back the covert levels, UP raw etc...

So true. Sell 50T for $10, and ascend. Verse even covert level 32 (I think) is 52T, and that's not even attack and defence trained to get into G&R

At any rate. At the current exchange rate, you can ascend, and get level 33 covert. OR, trade for cash, ascend for $10, and KEEP your covert. Same costs, different path (this ignores UP requirements, AC level, weapon and unit costs, etc)

Indeed. But it's also very useful for people who are LG/AG/AGoL/IAG/... who might want to ascend one more time without losing their covert/AC, if their levels cost exceeds by far 50T.
