I miss the older ones that were of the same scheme as :D

because the replacements are blurry,
and have white edges which suggest that they were...

pilfered. :P
any MS Pain program can fix the white edging on at least the non-animated ones in 5 minutes.

Some of the newer emoticons
are unique ones that we didn't have before,
which is a definite plus...
but all of the ones with white edges are blurry,
they all look cheap, unprofessional, and yeah... pilfered.
(that doesn't mean that they are pilfired, but they certainly do leave us with that impression.

I think the cheap-looking ones which are especially unique should be redone
or re-sourced to make them look like someone cared...
and the ordinary cheap ones should either revert back to the original that I love and miss,
or be redone, re-sourced as well.

I should be able to post originals for most here from the Mags forums.

I am aware that lots of forums including those of many of my friends use the cheap-looking emoticons...
So perhaps it's just me, but I don't like the look of them at all,

at least not how they are currently done.

In addition, perhaps we could also discuss what we would like an emoticon to say or express...

as I do not think we need any *additional* laughing or smiling faces. :-)

I for one would like to see a pirate emoticon, a ninja one, one for Pacman,

and more than one that is distinctly female. :P
